Feeling a little shook up this morning as someone literally shot firecrackers out of their car at me, I guess pride month is truly over and we are now back to regularly scheduled America

today, the chief of human resources in the cleveland public school district called me out by name in a room full of educators and told everyone that mine was hands down the best interview she had yet conducted, and that she was so excited to have me in the district.

afterwards, she personally pulled me aside and told me that I almost had her team in tears--and that they had conducted hundreds of interviews, but i shone among them. then she connected me with a woman who works for cleveland's publicity and asked if i could be featured in cleveland's plain dealer/the local news as a representative of the changes being made in the education system.

.........things like this do not help my pride problem. 

they just confirm my overwhelming belief that i can do anything i put my mind to.
