horndog boyfriends jason todd && ck-prime (18+) ₊˚⊹
"guys, you will not believe what happened today—" clark stumbles as he rushes to toe his shoes off, probably eager to rant about the idiots he had to talk to at the comic store.
the couch's squeak gets cut off as jason freezes behind you. his cock manages a single, pathetic throb in your cunt before he grumbles, "can it wait until—i don't know—we're done here?"
you can practically see the way his face pinches, even though he's buried your face halfway into the cushions. clark's mouth opens, then closes, and opens again.
"uh...you're telling me to wait, but you started without me?" he asks, offense clear in his tone.
you flick your eyes up, gaze meeting your boyfriend's sharp, tensed jaw. yeah, you think to yourself, he was definitely about to come.
"well, get over here, genius," you say to your other boyfriend, pushing yourself up onto your forearms. jason takes it a step further and pulls you against his flushed, firm chest, effortlessly taking you with him as he sits up.
"don't waste your time," he teases, hooking your pliant legs over his knees and spreading you for your third to see how deep you're taking him.
you hold your arms out to him while shifting to chide, "don't provoke him, jay."
he presses soft lips to your shoulder, so unlike the way he'd been fucking you before the welcome interruption. "sorry."
clark steps closer, pulling off his shirt in one smooth motion. jason throbs in your pussy again at the shield burned into clark's chest, at the taunting grin on his face. "yeah, jay, stop being an instigator."
you give him an exasperated look and readjust yourself the best you can with seven inches in your pussy. with a grunt, jason's hand flashes out and drags clark to kneel at eyelevel with your joined sexes. your thighs are trembling when he settles between them without a complaint, like second nature.
"oh," clark swallows unsteadily, crystal-blue eyes transfixed on your pussy, "i guess i can pipe down for a little."
the stretch in your legs and the pleasure simmering under your skin makes your head hazy, and clark nudging his nose against your clit feels like an afterthought.
“so pretty like this.” his words are warm on your inner thigh, smarting along your tendons. jason hisses when you flutter around him, tipping his hips up in return. your sigh trembles at the nudge of his cockhead against that spot that makes your vision go blurry.
the calluses on jason's fingers trail up beneath your soft camisole, catch on your nipple, the pert bud hitching between his thumb and forefinger. your thighs twitch again, and clark settles his warm, warm hands on your skin. the heat stays even after he moves on.
“can you touch yourself for me, baby?” when clark says it, he laps at the ring of arousal pooling at jason's base, dripping down his balls. the man behind you mutters a quiet fuck into your neck, gripping your waist for dear life.
you’re still so sensitive when you press your fingers to your clit and trace small, jerky circles over it. clark watches you and jason squirm, drinking in every flex in jason’s fingers and every attempt to close your thighs.
you whine, breathy and low, and he must be having enough of it because he dips forward and laps at your fingers as they slide between your labia. you make another pitched noise, gasping in tandem with jason.
jason lets one of his hands inch down, down, down until his fingers twist in clark's curls, until he’s pulling the black haired man closer into where the two of you are joined, until—
“fuck—clark, y’re filthy,” he groans. jason doesn’t wait for his boyfriend to respond, nipping at the tender area under your ear that makes you jerk your fingers just a little faster and moan just a little louder.
clark matches your pace, tongue cleaning the slick off your skin, mouth suckling at your clit when you pull into the apex of the tight circles you’ve been drawing. jason's right; it is fucking filthy.
he can’t stop rutting his hips up into your cunt, chasing the flat of clark's tongue as he swipes it across your fingers again. you shudder when jason moans, and clark just goes straight back to mouthing all over your clit and the hilt of jason's cock.
your stomach is starting to knot up again, neck tightening, shoulder blade drawing together. jason's as wound-up as you are, too caught in the web of your fingers and clark's tongue and the way you’re clamping just right around his cockhead.
your free hand joins jason's in the nest of black curls making a home between both of your thighs; you tug, just a bit, at the base near clark's scalp.
the man makes a low, stomach-deep sound that comes out rumbling around your stretched-out slit. jason's strained fuck goes ricocheting between your ribs, pinging right into your heat.
you coil clark's hair around and pull again; he makes the same choked noise, burying himself deeper into you and jason. you aren’t even sure if he can breathe there or if the cream that’s leaking out of your cunt is all he needs to fucking sustain himself.
clark pulls back and lets his eyes hunt the movement of your fingers slipping in your own wetness and his saliva. jason reels him back in by the back of his neck, muttering dirty nothings into your ear.
and then you swear you see stars, because clark is pressing his touch to your clit too, grazing his teeth over both of your fingers. jason grinds up for the nth time, twitching in in the way he always does when his balls are touched into that spongy spot that has you whining: please, jay, clark, right there, don’t stop—
he cleans yours and jason’s mess; the gothamite’s hips thrust mindlessly when he cums, heat spilling from your spasming cunt as your digits freeze up. clark's fingers don’t, and he keeps tracing shapes that aren’t even circles anymore all over your twitching clit.
you moan, low and spent and fuck, you can’t help but try to slam your legs close again. “cee, s’too much, please, i can’t.”
he just tilts his head to the side, shallowly digging his teeth into the plush of your thigh. clark taps at the junction of jason’s softening cock and balls—he shudders against your back, whimpering.
the freckles on clark’s forehead follow the movement of his brows when they tilt up and his breath goes beady in the humidity at the peak of your sex when he begs:
“can i please, please talk about that dumb fuck at the store while you both suck it?”
Jason doesn’t usually go with you to the comic shop.
It’s not like he is avoiding it or anything- your schedules have just never matched up to go at the same time. But every time you come home from the comic book shop you excitedly tell him all about what you bought when he gets home from patrol or from whatever he is doing that day and he watches you ramble about comics with a love struck smile on his face.
So one day when he knows you are going he makes sure that he doesn’t have anything else to do except tag along with you.
“Are you sure you want to come?” You ask, a little bit of embarrassment on your face. “If you have something else you would rather do you can just drop me off.”
“It’s important to you,” He presses a quick kiss to your temple. “therefore it is important to me.”
“You are such a sap Jace.” You laugh.
Jason chuckles before taking your hand to lead you out into the nosy city of Metropolis.
He doesn’t dislike the city but he isn’t a fan of how loud and bright the place is. After being raised in Gotham where it is constantly raining and people are more toned down it’s hard to adjust.
You take it in stride though, leading him through the crowds and looking back to make sure the noise isn’t too much.
The comic shop you frequent is a smaller store with a miriad of posters on the windows of various heroes, both fictional and real. You send him a bright smile as you pull the door open, gesturing for him to go in first.
Jason immediately feels a little out of place. He has always gravitated more towards books than comics so he is just looking around the store as you walk in after him.
Thankfully you see him floundering a bit and take his hand to lead him to the new comics. You are appraising the covers with a serious expression. Jason finds it endearing how picky you can be about which comics you get. It reminds him of his own pickiness when it comes to picking out books.
“Which one are you getting?” Jason leans over to whisper to you.
You purse your lips a little as you pick up one of the comics with a purple and gold cover, “I don’t think they have any more of the variant cover that I want.”
“Do you think they have more in the back?” He suggests and you give him a nod.
“It’s worth a shot and I need to pick up the rest of my pull anyway.” You tell him with an easy smile.
Jason follows you over to the counter. He stands slightly behind you in line, watching you bounce on the balls of your feet as the man in front of you two takes forever to pay and get out of the way.
As he looks at you he doesn’t pay attention to who is behind the counter until you are there.
“CK!” You exclaim in joy as you walk up to the counter. “I didn’t know that you were here today.”
Superboy Prime, a super powered mass murderer, waves back at you with a blinding smile. Jason isn’t one to judge with his history but Prime has a kill count that makes Jason’s look like child’s play. From what he has heard the man has gotten better, the justice league aren’t trying to imprison him anymore since he helped the boy scout apparently.
But that doesn’t mean that Jason is just suddenly fine having you around him.
“I picked up a shift since I need rent money.” Prime shrugs, still smiling at you like you hung the moon and stars.
“Well it’s good to see you.” You say then remember what you are here for then continue on, “Do you have anymore variants of this?”
You hand the comic over to Prime, Jason tenses as your fingers brush.
Jason is secure in his ability to protect you but he feels genuine fear for you as you get too close to him. He never really trusts anyone, you are one of the exceptions but that was after months of working with him, and with his history Prime makes Jason want to put himself between the two of you.
“We should,” Prime nods. “Let me go get it.”
You turn back to Jason with a grin to check on him.
He tries to muster up his easiest expression so you don’t think that you are making him uncomfortable. You don’t seem to pick up on his underlying emotion and turn back to Prime who is coming out with a couple comic books
“I grabbed your pull while I was back there.” Prime tells you as he sets down the stack of comic books on the counter.
“Thanks, it’s like you read my mind.” You laugh and begin to look through the books.
Jason narrows his eyes at Prime since he must have been eavesdropping with his super hearing. Prime looks at Jason with a smile that seems to grow as Jason crosses his arms, a severe look crossing his face.
“This must be the boyfriend you talk so much about.” Prime turns to you, his smile softens in a way that makes Jason’s hackles raise.
“Yeah,” You grab his hand and run your thumb over his knuckles. “Our schedules finally matched up so he came with me.”
“It’s good to meet you-?” Prime cuts himself off, as he holds out a hand for Jason to take, he waits for Jason to insert his name.
He reluctantly reaches out a hand to shake his, “Jason.”
He gives the hand shake an abnormal amount of force. Most men would have flinched at the crushing pressure of Jason’s hand but Prime doesn’t even blink as Jason tightens his grip.
“It’s good to meet you.” Prime says.
You two make idle conversation as you check out. Something about the latest issue of Amazing Spiderman that Jason doesn’t pay attention to because he is glaring at Prime.
Jason feels much better once you start to walk towards the door.
You wave at Prime before turning to push the door so the two of you can leave. He feels the hair on the back of his neck stand up as he can feel Prime turning his eyes from you to Jason.
Turing back he sees Superboy Prime leaning over the counter with a wide grin. He winks at Jason which Jason takes as some sort of threat. Did he track you down to mess with Jason? He can’t let Prime hurt you because of him.
Jason just glares at him one last time before following you out.
Blue’s Notes : I love how this encounter is so different in each person’s perspective. Prime is flirting with both Reader and Jason, Reader is a little oblivious to Prime’s advances and Jason is convinced Prime is a threat that Reader needs protection from. Miscommunication is a good trope when it is funny.
All things considered- despite the Justice League monitoring him and not really having any friends- Clark’s redemption arc is going well! He gets to hang out with Lois Lane and save Metropolis on a daily basis. It’s not one of those half assed ones either, like when the writers proclaim that the characters are good now without any work being put in.
Clark is pretty excited to be in universe without having to deal with those large crisis events that writers are so fond of. He can get to know these characters and places in person and not in the pages of his comic books. There is a whole list of things to do and places he wants to go stuck to his fridge with a Superman magnet.
But most of Clark’s days off right now are dedicated to catching up on comics. He was imprisoned for a while so he has a lot of the current continuity to catch up on. On his days off he only leaves to save people.
Which is what he is doing when he runs into you.
The subway tunnel is collapsing because some villain decided to set explosives around the support pillars. He really doesn’t understand why. Clark was a villain at one point so he knows all about motivations but this just seems excessive.
Super speed really comes in handy in situations like this. He is zipping from person to person pulling them out of the growing hole in the concrete. Each person is set safely on the street above the large sink hole forming in the middle of Metropolis.
“Grab my hand!” Your voice is clear in his ears as he sets down a business man on his feet.
A fond smile crosses his face for a split second before he flies to you.
He finds you helping a child across concrete that is cracking fast, fissures are quickly snaking through it around you. You have a good heart, it’s one of the things he finds himself liking about you. Clark doesn’t have the heart that Superman does but you do so it seems natural that he gravitates towards you.
“Need some help?” Clark grabs you by the waist, feeling complete as you fit against him.
“Superman! Please save the girl first!” You don’t even look at him as he lifts off the ground.
How could he deny you anything when you ask him so sweetly?
He grabs the little girl with the arm not currently around your waist, she grabs onto his cape like a lifeline. Clark feels a warmth fill his chest at being appreciated even if it is as small as people trusting him.
“Hold tight!” Clark shouts and lifts off the ground.
You shut your eyes tight as he shoots out of the sink hole. He even notices that you are scrunching your nose slightly. It’s adorable. Clark wants to keep you in his arms as long as possible if you keep holding onto him like he is the only thing in the world.
He sets down the little girl first on the ground near her mother who crushes her in a hug the second Clark lets go of her. The girl is crying with her mother but gives him a small wave of thanks as he leaves.
Clark flies back to a safe spot near the edge of the sink hole to put you down. Your heart is pounding so hard in your chest Clark is concerned it may break out of your ribs at this rate. His hand lingers on your back to try and ground you in the present.
“Breathe.” He instructs gently. “Breathe with me.”
Clark breathes in and out slowly, holding the air in his lungs for a few second then releasing through his mouth slowly.
You begin to do the same and your heart rate begins to slow down to a normal speed. This close he can see the flutter of your eyes and the way your lips are slightly parted.
You are beautiful even in disastrous situations like this.
Clark’s interest in you was a gradual thing. It started with small things, like the types of comics you buy that catch his eye. Then he noticed how nice your voice was in the minimal conversation you two had when he checked you out.
Everything struck him when you started actually talking to him about comics.
You were talking with one of his coworkers about reading through silver age superman comics. He joined in, not to correct you because he isn’t a gatekeeping asshole, but to gauge how you are enjoying them. You had happily talked about where you were in his silver age storyline to him and he found himself drawn into you.
From then on it had been an instant click for Clark He didn’t really have time to date between working and saving Metropolis from the weekly big bad that tried to invade or take over the city so he never looked for anything like that. But after finding you his free time was devoted to trying to get your number.
The only problem is that his attempts to flirt with you seemed to not quite land.
He would shoot you a blinding smile and try to compliment you and you would just thank him and move on to talking about comics again. It’s almost like a karmic joke from the writers to make him meet someone who enjoys comics as much as he does but make you so oblivious to his advances!
Clark was practically pulling out his hair when you dropped the bombshell that you were already taken. It made sense. You were fun, beautiful and had perfect opinions about comics.
Of course you had a boyfriend.
He had moped on Lois’s couch about it over ice cream. She had tried to comfort him as best she could by telling him that there are many more fish in the sea. Which is technically true- but he wants a particular fish and that fish is you. So she just let him eat her ice cream and rant to her.
Clark decided to just try and wait out the relationship. He will be there as a friend until something happens to your boyfriend and he can help you get over him. That isn’t very Superman-like, Clark is very aware of that, but he is working hard on redeeming himself so he can have a little bit of wishing your boyfriend randomly gets set on fire as a treat. He was sure he could just wait this out.
Until Jason Todd walked into the shop like he was lost with you in toe.
You dragged Jason back to the new comics, his face immediately softening around you as you guided him. If it was anyone else he may have been jealous of you touching him but he doesn’t mind if it’s Jason. Clark tried to pretend like he is organizing comics but in all actuality he was eavesdropping on your conversation.
Jason was weary of him, that much was clear from the nasty glare he sent Clark’s way when they first met but he can’t help but think of it as cute how protective he is of you. Clark would never hurt you, not in a million years, so the fear is unwarranted.
Jason had crossed his arms as the two of them make stiff conversation while Clark was trying to keep his cool with how the shirt stretched over his skin. You had easily pull the conversation back into friendlier territory with a smile that made Clark want to melt into the ground.
The both of you short circuit his brain just by talking to him.
Back in the present your eyes open slowly as you grow accustomed to the new surroundings. Clark tries not to look too deeply into them because he is sure he may get stuck like that. Like everything else about you they draw him in.
“Thank you for that.” You say, your voice still shaky.
“It’s no problem, we all have times like that.” Clark comforts you and mourns the loss of contact as he pulls his hand away from you.
“Are you Superman?” You narrow your eyes in confusion.
Clark chuckles at your usual sharp perception, “I’m filling in for him for now.”
“That makes sense, the usual superman is older and has some muscle on you so it checks out.” You nod.
“I have the right amount of muscle.” He pouts slightly, mask slipping slightly as some of his usual personality slips out.
You let out a startled laugh, “I think you look great! No extra muscle needed.”
A blush tints his cheeks at your compliment.
“Thanks.” Clark looks away in embarrassment, rubbing the back of his neck.
“You are doing a good job so far.” You assure him which only makes the blush deepen.
“Well!” Clark announces abruptly needing to get out of this situation before he embarrasses himself more. “I will just head out, stay safe!”
“Oh okay!” You look a little dejected that he is leaving. “Good luck out there Superman.”
Clark flies away from you as fast as he can, face practically on fire. He has to do a couple laps of the city until he calms down enough to go home.
‘This second encounter definitely needs some work’ Clark thinks to himself as he is pushed up against the wall of his Metropolis apartment, a furious Jason Todd pressing his elbow on his windpipe. He must have heard about Clark saving you and decided now was the time to try and chew him out.
After the whole fiasco where he punched a hole in reality he didn’t have the time to check on what exactly he changed. He was too wrapped up in his own troubles to see what he did but when he finally got around to it he didn’t regret it.
Jason Todd was the Robin Clark grew up with on Earth-Prime so he has always been attached to his character. Him waking Jason up from the dead was completely unintentional. But he wouldn’t take back his actions when he got the Red Hood out of the situation.
The comics really don’t do Jason justice Clark notes as Jason leans into him. The heart shaped curls and scars are lost on the page. The exact greenish blue color of his eyes are duller on paper. Only a few panels capture Jason’s looks, like Batman Annual #25 that Clark looked at for far too long before he realized that he was Bi.
“I don’t know what you get out of stalking them but I won’t let you hurt my partner Prime.” Jason’s words pull him back to reality as he sneers at him.
Clark doesn’t know how Jason got into his apartment. Not that he isn’t pleased to see Jason in all of his Red Hood gear, besides the helmet. But he is sure that Jason broke into his apartment to yell at him.
Maybe he should just leave his window open so that he can let himself in next time.
“I didn’t stalk them!” Clark raises his hands in a sign for peace. “I saved them.”
The whites of the domino narrow in obvious suspicion. “You have interacted more than just that so I don’t believe you.”
“How can I change your mind?” Clark leans forward, a smile forming on his lips.
“Stay as far away from them as possible.” Jason says and quickly pulls back from him.
Clark wonders if Jason is adverse to touch or just his in particular.
“That’s no fun Jace.” He smirks, seeing how far he can push Jason.
That gets a hard glare from him, “You don’t get to call me that.”
“Why not?” Clark pouts. “It suits you.”
“Fuck off Prime.” He snarls before walking away from him.
Jason walks over to the window and climbs out of it. Clark would be worried but he hears the almost silent sound of a grapple firing. He listens to Jason’s elevated heart rate as he swings away.
Slowly Clark comes to a realization.
If he wants to get close to you and Jason, he needs to prove that he isn’t a threat to Jason. Which is easy, he can just help Jason out with his vigilante stuff to prove that he isn’t a villain anymore.
Plan in mind, Clark grins as Jason’s heart beat gets more and more distant.
“Get out of here!” Jason snaps at Clark, throwing a nearby brick at him.
“Bricks won’t hurt me!” Clark crosses his arms and lets the brick bounce off of him easily. “I am trying to help you!”
Suffice to say his plan hasn’t been going so well. He has been flying over to Gotham on a regular basis to help Jason out and overall just interact with the man.
Only to find out that Jason is extremely stubborn.
So far he has had to deal with Jason testing out what will hurt him enough to leave and regular yelling matches but now, figuring out that no amount of yelling or kryptonite will dissuade him, Jason has started throwing things at him like he was a pesky bird at Jason’s window.
“God!” Jason shouts like he might help him and begins to pace on the rooftop. “What can I do to make you stop following me?!”
Clark pouts, “What if I just like following you around?”
“You are full of shit.” Jason scoffs. “Like I would believe an obvious lie like that.”
Clark realizes how low Jason’s self esteem is if this is how he reacts to that statement. He blinks for a minute at Jason. Then makes the executive decision that you are needed to resolve this issue.
Without a word Clark picks Jason up, arms around his back and under his legs, and begins to fly away.
“What the fuck! Put me down!” Jason fights him with everything he has- which is a lot considering how strong Jason is.
Soon enough when Clark speeds up Jason is holding onto him tightly. It’s nice despite the situation. His grip is a lot tighter than ours was a couple days ago.
The trip from Gotham to Metropolis with super speed is pretty fast for him normally. But with Jason it take a couple minutes instead of seconds because Clark doesn’t want to hurt him.
Your light is on when Clark stops at your window, Jason in hand.
“What are you planning?” Jason hisses quietly to him.
“I am resolving this issue without all of this miscommunication that the author is throwing in for comedic relief.” Clark explains and Jason just looks more confused.
Well not everyone can see that they are in a fanfic.
“Don’t you dare drop me Prime!” Jason is still keeping his voice low probably so he doesn’t disturb you in your apartment.
“That would be counterproductive-” Clark gives him a smirk, “-Jace.”
“I am going to find a way to kill you-” His threat is cut off by a sharp snap of a window opening.
You are standing at your window, arms crossed and pajamas on, a look of exasperation on your face. Clark can’t help but brighten at seeing you, a grin replacing the smirk on his lips.
“Are you both going to argue all night?” You demand, “Or are you going to come in so we can talk like adults?”
“Well-” He drawls but is cut off.
“Bring Jason inside C.K before you start talking.” You say then walk further into your apartment.
Both men stare at your retreating form in shock. They share a bewildered look before Clark sets Jason down on the fire escape. He is quick to escape his arms and get inside.
“You knew?” Jason asks you once both of them are inside and the window is shut.
You raise a single eyebrow, “You aren’t subtle with your gear since you hide it under my bed when you stay over.”
Clark winces at the obvious placement.
“Why didn’t you say anything?” Jason sounds a little hurt by your words and Clark suddenly feels like he should be looking anywhere but at the two of you.
You sigh and walk up to him, grabbing a gloved hand in yours.,“I wanted you to tell me when you were ready Jace. It’s your secret not mine.”
Jason leans into your touch like a starving man. Clark craves the touch you and Jason have with each other, it’s so soft and gentle which Clark hasn’t had in a long time.
“But we need to talk about what is going on between you and C.K since it is effecting the both of you.” You continue on, shifting your warm gaze to him.
“Didn’t know that you knew about me.” Clark admits sheepishly.
You laugh a bit, “I didn’t know until you saved me the other day. You acted too much like C.K and looked exactly like him without glasses. Plus it’s a classic superhero disguise.”
“Hey it works for the most part.” Clark defends himself lamely.
That gets a snort from Jason, a sound he hasn’t heard from the other man before.
“Now, what is going on?” You guide the conversation back on track.
Clark’s words fail him as you ask. How can he explain that he has murdered dozens of people without a care in a way that won’t make you hate him? He doesn’t want to lose you because of his past actions, that’s why he wanted to keep you in the dark about his powers.
Jason looks over at him with a conflicted expression, “It’s not my story to tell.”
You look to Clark.
“I am not a good person- my past- it’s not pretty and Jason knows about it so he wants to protect you from me.” Clark is vague but he doesn’t want to delve into his actions right now.
You walk over to him and Clark is prepared to be told to get out.
It’s not the first time that his past has come between him and others. The only other people who view him without any judgement are Superman, Lois and the Kents so he doesn’t think that the circle is about to grow until he feels your hand grab his.
“Do you regret it?” Your voice is soft.
“A lot of it.” Clark dares to look up at you.
You are giving him a small smile, “Then that’s all I need to hear. If you aren’t going to hurt me and anyone else then I won’t judge.”
“Are you sure?” He whispers.
“Of course.” Your answer is so sure that Clark can’t find an arguement to combat it.
A blanket of silence falls over the apartment, all three of you settling into something none of you can name. Clark doesn’t want you to let go of him. He also wants to reach out to Jason but stays back since the man may have taken a step back from trying to keep Clark away he still doesn’t like him.
“As long as they are fine so am I.” Jason concedes with his eyes casted to the side.
“Good!” You cheer and the mood shifts to something less deep and emotional. “Now are you staying?”
Clark blinks, “Oh- um- well-”
“I have the spider-man movies and was planning on a marathon.” You tell him.
He perks up immediately, “Which ones?”
“Andrew Garfield.” You smirk in triumph knowing that Clark won’t say no.
Clark wants so badly to agree but before he can he hears someone yelling for his help. He can’t just turn them away, that’s not what Superman would do. Looking between you and the distant call he tries not to sigh.
He hangs his head a little as he speaks, “Someone needs help, maybe later?”
“Definitely.” You promise him despite looking disappointed.
Clark momentarily glances over at Jason who looks deliberately neutral. His posture is more relaxed than before. He must feel better having everything out in the open.
“Have a good night.” Clark forces a bright smile before leaving your apartment.
As he flies towards the voice Clark huffs in annoyance at being interrupted. Of course the moment he is making progress he is called away.
It takes Clark an hour to deal with the plane crash that the person was yelling from.
Once he is done he flies back to your apartment. He sees you asleep on the couch next to Jason, your legs swung over his lap. Jason is also asleep with his arms crossed and his head back. The both of you look so comfortable and distant from him.
Talking about his past brings up a sense of shame even if he isn’t that person anymore. He shouldn’t want either of you since he isn’t a good person but he finds himself wanting to be next to you both on the couch.
Clark decides to just fly home.
Blue’s Notes - I kind of hate the later half of this but I can’t keep rewriting it over and over. Also the angst at the end wasn’t planned, it just happened. We have one last part to this (hopefully)
Jason is skeptical about letting Prime into your lives at first. Even after you talked with him and Prime he still doesn't believe what he is saying. He is on guard with the other man at all times when he is around, which is often now.
Another thing is that Prime has slotted himself into your lives like he always belonged there.
He shows up every Friday with takeout to watch movies with you. He helps Jason with his vigilante work and annoys him about classic literature. He has even slept over on your couch multiple times now after yoir Friday night hangouts.
Jason knows that other people may be jealous about another man around their partner this much but Jason recognizes something in him- desperation.
Prime sways towards you in the same way Jason does like he wants to hold you but is too scared to ask.
Sometimes you give him a hug and he melts into your arms. And Jason understands that all too well so he doesn't say anything about it. If you are uncomfortable you will definitely voice it to both of them.
He sighes as he pushes his key to your door into the lock and opens the door. His shoulders are heavy since he drove his bike all the way from Gotham since he had a fight with Bruce and didn't want to be in the same city as him.
You make all his problems seem less terrible when he is close to you so he makes his way to you like a sinner on a pilgrimage.
When the door swings open he can hear the sound of the TV and loud conversation.
He shuts the door behind him quietly before putting his helmet down near his kicked off shoes. He is humming subconsciously along to Three doors Down even after he turned off his bike.
Walking in quietly he sees you and Prime on the couch, both of you with separate popcorn bowls since Prime likes skittles in his like a weirdo, watching one of the star wars movies.
"I know that technically Anakan brought balance to the force but I don't think the prophecy was completed with him." Prime says and pops a couple popcorn crenels into his mouth as you whip your head to stare at him.
"You may see it that way but he completed the prophecy." You squint at him. "The Jedi council just got the prophecy wrong and thought that meant that Anakan would wipe out the Sith."
"Still the dark side was in power after that so it can be argued that Luke was the chosen one." Prime is grinning like he knows that this will get you going.
"Just because it can be argued doesn't mean that it should Clark, I am disappointed in you." You huff.
He laughs and Jason has to admit that it sounds nice mixed with the other sensations he is feeling that scream home to him.
Jason sits down next to you, practically draping himself over you. He takes in how warm you are and how your cotton pyjama pants feel against him. You don't blink at his sudden closeness and press a kiss to his forehead.
"Hey Jace." Your voice is soft like you know about his fight without him even saying anything. "How are you?"
He sighs in your embrace, "Better now that I am holding you."
"Do I get a hug too?" Prime teases.
Jason flips him off without even looking up at him.
That makes him laugh again, "How cold of you!"
"Now now!" You interrupt before Jason can retort, he can never let Prime get the last word in, and try to meditate. "We are arguing about Anakan Skywalker and not physical touch."
Jason sighs with annoyance this time.
You and Prime can argue for hours over small things. He is usually subjected to having to listen and be the tie breaker between you two. No matter who he picks there is always a sore loser, usually it's Prime since Jason is biased.
"Anakan completed the prophecy." Jason says, not moving from his position practically laying on top of you.
He likes in stories when prophecies don't go the way people expect. It adds a good twist when something goes the way people don't expect.
Prime gasps, "Betrayal! You are just saying that because it puts me in the wrong!"
"Maybe." Jason snickers at his indignation.
"I am going to leave." Prime crosses his arms and pouts- actually pouts.
"No," Jason watches you reach a hand over to Prime. "You are going to finish Revenge of the Sith then we can do the original trilogy."
Prime sighs dramatically, flopping over on your other side like a fainting Victorian woman, "Fine!"
Jason settles in for the long haul as you press play and he watches Ewan McGregor resumes what he was saying about a clone army. He just lets himself drift as you watch the movie, feeling at home with you and Prime next to him.
You are moving around the kitchen, making dinner instead of worrying over Clark. Usually he is early to any time you two get together. But he was supposed to be here about an hour ago for your Friday movie night but he is very late.
"He is probably fine." You murmur to yourself in an attempt to speak it into existence.
"Prime is indestructible so he should be fine." Jason walks into the kitchen and leans against the counter, a soft look on his face.
"I hope so." You look back down at the onions you are cutting.
"You really care for him don't you?" Jason cuts straight to the heart of the issue.
A sigh leaves your lips in a slow drawn out breath, "Yeah, do you?"
Jason looks away from you, a complicated expression on his face. It's not hard to see that Jason has let Clark into his life. Usually Jason isn't comfortable enough around anyone to act vulnerable with you or anyone but he is around Clark.
There is something there that you have been aware of for a while and just haven't brought it up yet.
A loud clang on your fire escape sends Jason into fight mode, pulling you behind him and taking the knife from your hands. Something is fiddling with your window, their silhouette is completely dark against the setting sun behind them.
Jason inches forward slowly, his body coiled to move one way or another if the situation calls for it. You follow at his back and fear buzzing in your ears.
The window snaps open, making you jump back, and Clark sticks his head inside. There is a flush to his cheeks and a large grin on his face.
You can see how much his pupils are diolated from across the room. Jason's shoulders relax as soon as Clark's face is in view.
"Hiii…" Clark drags out his greeting.
You make your way over to him with a relieved huff, "You are late Clark."
He stumbles through your window and towers over you a little. You don't really realize how tall he is until he is right in front of you like this. His hands come up to either side of your face, tilting your face to look up at him.
"You are beautiful-" His eyes stare into yours. "-has anyone told you that? Your eyes are the best thing in the world because I can see what you are thinking."
Your jaw drops open in shock at his words.
Clark has never been this open with you before.
His feelings are a lot like Jason's, hidden behind high walls, only his are covered with humor instead of anger. He must see you getting a little flustered because he laughs, a low breathy thing in that back of his throat.
"I love you-" His smile turns a little dopey like he hadn't just said his previous words. "-like sooo muchhh!"
He looks behind you at Jason, moving from you to where Jason has walked up behind you in a blink of an eye. "You too, I love how on the outside you try not to care but on the inside you care so much about people. Even me. Plus your thighs are-”
Jason puts a hand on his mouth to silence him, "Shut up!"
Your boyfriend's face is aflame as Clark leans closer into his touch. He is off balance and you can see it written in his body language.
Approaching them, Clark sees you and his grin can be seen on his whole face.
"Clark? What happened?" You ask, removing Jason's hand from Clark's mouth.
"Ummm-" He giggles, "I was fighting a guy? Then this stupid Kryptonite variant was thrown at me. I defeated the guy of course but then I really needed to see you guys and tell you how much I love you!"
Jason makes eye contact with you, "We need to call Lois."
"Lois Lane?" You ask with pure confusion, "Like multi-Pulitzer prize winning journalist Lois Lane?"
"She's married to Superman." Jason supplies.
Oh. You definitely didn't know that. And now you do. Great.
"I can call Lois!" Clark says and pulls out a phone from a hidden pocket in his suit.
The phone rings a few times before it clicks and Lois Lane speaks, "What do you need at this time at night Prime?"
"Mrs. Lane?" You ask, hoping to not sound too urgent.
"Who is this?" She asks with an air of authority that would make even the strongest man on the planet back down.
You tell her your name and Jason chimes in with his and his hero name for good measure, "Prime was hit with some type of kryponite and we don't know what it does."
She hums on the other end, "What color was it?"
"Light purple?" Clark doesn't look too sure about it as he says it.
Lois laughs a little before speaking again, "He will be fine, just a little drunk for a few hours. Periwinkle kryponite is like a drug or alcohol for them so he's fine."
That sounds a little crazy but as long as Clark is fine then you'll take it.
"Thank you Mrs. Lane!" You breathe in relief.
"Good luck with him." Lois wishes you well before hanging up.
Clark has moved himself and is now draped over your couch like a large house cat. His shoulder armor is set down a few feet away. He groans from his spot sprawled out like he is inconvenienced by his own existence.
"I want Taco Bell." Clark whines loudly.
You try not to laugh but Clark catches you and pops his head out from behind the couch. He looks absolutely betrayed by your soft laughter.
"It's important! Food is sooo important!" Clark says.
"Let's get you out of that armor and into bed Prime." Jason snickers at Clark as he flails on the couch in indignation.
"You won't shut me up! I can keep talking forever." He vows and resists you and Jason coaxing him to get off the couch.
In the end it takes a lot to get him off the couch, into the spare clothes he left in your apartment and into your bed. You and Jason decide to call it a night after, that was enough excitement for one night.
Having no other bed since you could only afford a one bedroom you slide in between Clark and the wall. He must know you are there even in his half passed out state because he pulls you into his arms.
You breathe in Jason's fancy laundry detergent, since he has money for the good stuff, and the lingering sent of night air that Clark has on him.
Jason stares at you two for a minute like he was debating joining you before you motion him into the bed.
It feels like the last piece of a puzzle slotting into place. Once they are both in your bed you feel the rest of the word and it's problems melt away, leaving only the soft breathing of two people beside you.
Sleep comes easy to you tonight.
Clark wakes up to a warm bed. It's abnormally warm considering that he only has one blanket at his apartment so he is confused about how warm it is in his bed.
He tries to turn over to find an arm swung over his waist. Blinking down at it for a second he tries to remember what happened last night.
Clark is hit with the memories of climbs through your window, confessing his love to you and Jason, whining about fast food and then passing out all within only half an hour of being in your apartment last night.
"Stop moving." Jason grumbles next to Clark's ear.
Clark is both flustered and confused by how close both of you are. It was clear that you and Jason didn't want to get up yet from how Jason has a vice grip on him and the way you are clinging to him.
But Clark wants to get as far away from here as possible because he completely humiliated himself last night in front of the two of you.
"It's too early for you to wake up Clark." You sigh and nuzzle deeper into his embrace like there is nothing abnormal about this.
"Are you both fine with-" Cuddling? Me? A possible relationship?
"We already talked about it last night." Jason dismisses his concerns. "We are keeping you."
"Yep!" You grin sleepily next to him. "You are ours now Clark."
Oh.
Oh.
"Um- uh- in what sense?" He stutters a bit as he asks.
You lift your head to look over at him.
"Well." You draw out the word and shift your eyes down to his lips. "I think that I want you in a romantic sense."
"Oh okay-" Clark nods as he looks down at you. "That would be great."
You giggle, "You are a little bad at this."
"Hey! Neither of you responded to my advances before!" Clark defends himself.
That makes Jason get up, "What?"
"I have been flirting with both of you for like forever." He turns to look at you. "I have been flirting with you since like the fifth week into my job-" He turns back to Jason. "-and with you since that first day I met you."
Jason looks genuinely bewildered, "You were flirting with me?"
"I winked at you!" Clark exclaims.
"I thought it was a threat!" Jason shoots back.
"The whole time…" You whisper to yourself with a look of realization.
"It looks like we are all bad at this!" Clark crosses his arms with a huff.
It's quiet for a moment before you speak up, "At least we cleared this up."
'No thanks to the author' Clark thinks grumpily.
"Yeah." He sighs.
"Can we all go back to sleep?" Jason grumps. "It's like 7am."
"Hold on Jace." You smile his way before sitting up a little and leaning over Clark. "Can I kiss you Clark?"
His brain short circuits a little as he nods.
Your lips are soft against his when you lean down to kiss him. You taste like strawberries somehow. It's a taste he wants always on his tounge. He deepens the kiss, wrapping an arm around you to pull you in for more.
Jason whistles when you pull back from Clark, a grin on your lips, "I wouldn't mind waking up to that."
You laugh and lay down again.
Clark turns his head in Jason's direction, "Any kisses for me Jace."
Jason rolls his eyes like it is some big inconvenience but Clark sees the blush coloring the tips of his ears red. He wants this as much as you do but won't say it.
Clark takes charge with this kiss, tasting mint as he kisses Jason. It feels right, like yours did, but has more teeth to it. While your kiss was welcoming, Jason's is challenging, forcing Clark to chase what he wants.
Jason pulls back from him with red cheeks and diolated pupils. Clark isn't any better as he breathes heavier then before.
"Now that's something I wouldn't mind waking up to." You shoot Jason’s words back at him with a laugh, breaking tension that engulfed the room.
Jason rolls his eyes, "I am going back to sleep."
Clark has a stupid grin on his face as Jason grumbles something under his breath and pulls the blanket further around himself. You laugh softly and grab Jason's hand that is still resting against Clark's torso. He squeezes your hand gently, laying his head on Clark's shoulder.
"I second that." Your head takes up space on Clark's other shoulder.
He decides that this is pretty good ending to this story.
Blue’s Notes- Everything has been resolved! And fun fact, the kryponite I used actually exists and I feel like it should be used more often because the idea of a rock getting Kryptonians high is hilarious to me. I also don’t know how it works so I assumed it’s like regular kryponite so image a random villian chucking it as hard as they can at Prime’s face.
