Hi! Probably the longest of shots, but would anyone be interested in a roleplay set in the BBC Primeval universe?

I would prefer to use ocs but happy to use ccs if the plot is right.

Relative: Claudia Brown (She’s the only one who remembers her older sister)

Line of study: Paleobotany and Lab Technician (plus she can track animals pretty well since Stephen taught her a bit)

Job: Lab Technician at the ARC (Anomaly Research Centre) Paleobotanist

Wants: To stop Helen Cutter at all costs... partly for revenge reasons since she felt like Cutter was a father figure to her, and because Helen can’t be alive if the others are going to be safe. She’s looking for a lot of answers, she probably won’t find. She also wants to keep up Cutter and Stephen’s work, feeling she owes them something.

Personality: driven, angry (though she’s hiding it, though it comes out in the wrong times and in short bursts) sarcastic, sometimes combative, doesn’t listen to orders, getting herself into bad situations, she’s feisty, funny, easy going yet harsh as well, self conscious, reckless, caring, empathic, gentle, sometimes arrogant and overly combative, her mood can change like the weather. She’s not sure about anything anymore, and feels like she doesn’t belong anywhere else but at the ARC. She rarely smiles, but if she does, the smile is genuine. She’s very hard on herself, and blames herself for every little mistake, though she’s working on that. She doesn’t know where she belongs and she’s trying to find answers, making her slightly one track minded. She’s a total ‘nerd’ and can talk for hours about Star Wars and Star Trek, loves Battlestar and Stargate, and most other things in that genre, though she hardly talks to anyone except the ‘old’ team members, such as Connor and Abby.

Best Friend: Connor Temple or Becker, though Jenny Lewis is a good friend as well, reminding her a lot of Claudia. She sees Sarah and Danny like second parents, while looking up to Lester as an almost father figure. She loves Abby as a friend too, and looks at her like a sister.

Crush: She’d met Stephen Hart at the ARC, when she was younger, and she’d liked him after that. He’d been kind to her and she formed a slight crush on him from that point on, always tagging along with her older sister, who couldn’t see any harm in bringing her there, since Julie had already been involved in a dinosaur related attack (from a very hungry and angry Carcharodontosaurus of the late Cretaceous Era) in which Stephen had partly helped in rescuing her, and so she knew about Claudia’s work. After Claudia disappeared, she relied on Stephen and the others, even though he said he hardly had time for her, but ended up being there for her anyway, their relationship changing to a brother and sister relationship, her crush disappearing since that point. She also grew close to Cutter since he was the only one that still remembered Claudia, and looked at Abby Maitland and Connor Temple as her adopted siblings, also seeing Cutter as something of an older brother or father figure. Upon finding out about Stephen’s death, after the disappearance of her sister, Claudia Brown, it sent her into a slight depressive spiral and she walked away from everything and everyone at the ARC, only to return the night Cutter was killed, feeling that she needed to talk to him. She never really got over her crush on Stephen and isn’t really looking for a relationship, since her life’s too messy and uncontrollable at the moment, though if someone happened to show up that she really liked, there could be possibilities. She’s definitely attracted to the soldier boy hero types, but her personality goes better with people like Connor.

She: Took one of Stephen’s jackets (the green canvas one) and it’s a prized possession that she sometimes wears in the field, since Stephen and Cutter, as well, made her feel safe, after Claudia’s disappearance. She’s also knicked a few other items as well.

OUT OF THE ARC. I forgot how much I love series 4 and 5. I also forgot how much I adored Emily. Jess is my homegirl for sure. But Emily also is so lovely and interesting. I wish there was someone with a Matt account to play with. So tempted to make an Emily. Jess just wants to help her learn the newer fashions and maybe introduce her to Steampunk to amuse her.

Also JAMES LESTER. My favorite sarcastic not-dad.
