i really dont get why people blame gale for prim's death??? yes he built the weapons and yes he was willing to use it on capitol citizens (which you can dislike him for!! it all depends on your own morals and other stuff and whatever), but he DID NOT set off the bombs. he didn't know how or when they would be used. he would not have set them off if he knew about prim being there. in the books, its not even (unless i missed something) confirmed that the bombs were from the rebels. gale can be disliked for other reasons, but he didn't kill prim.

I just finished my re-read of the hunger games, and i keep thinking about how katniss describes prim’s death.

at one point, she refers to her as being “lit up like a torch” and having to watch it.

Did prim burn to death? slowly, i mean. I had kinda always assumed her death was instant, but it makes it ten times more painful to imagine that she was also, if only momentarily, the girl on fire.

I've read mockingjay a few times but its just hit me again that Prim died...WHY THE FRIK DID THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN??? IT WAS AN UNNECESSARY ACTION. SHE DID NOTHING WRONG
