Prins Eugen (Swedish, 1865-1947), Udden i snö [The Cape in Snow], 1929. Oil on panel, 76 x 90 cm.
God, it must kinda suck to be Teshimano. Like, not in the big ways, but like--- you have a signature hairstyle because you like doing your sister's hair. It's kinda fun and trendy and a bit different from how your classmates wear theirs.
Suddenly everyone starts remembering the past and they keep telling you you look like the evil prince that probably killed everyone. This sucks. This sucks TWICE as bad since you were said prince's aide and personal knight.
You think this does not matter. You DESPERATELY need this to not matter.
One of your best friends turns out to be a reincarnation of said prince.
He becomes VERY important in the game of politics you and your classmates keep playing.
Everyone keeps telling you that your hairstyle is DEFINITELY reminiscent of Prince Eugene.
Your past life kinda had a crush on Prince Eugene.
You start cleaning up your best friend's apartment and offer coffee to guests when they visit. You are fifteen and kinda slipped seamlessly back into the aide role.
AND YOU DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE.
Everyone keeps telling you that your hairstyle reminds them of that other guy.
You hate him and you love him and you want your old best friend back.
You are kinda unsure how to feel about Prince Eugene.
Maybe subconsciously it wasn't your sister that influenced your hairstyle. Maybe it was your past.
Maybe you didn't even notice. Again.
I would scream.
And that's before they start almost killing him.
The Battle of Zenta 1697 by Karl von Blaas
On Instagram I just saw a post that said: “Hot take: Kristoff is better than Flynn”, and the funny thing is that, in the comments, someone replied “well, that’s not a hot take, I think it’s kinda frozen”, and I was like💀 HAHAHAHA
Serious answer: personally, I don’t like either of them: Kristoff is quite a green flag, but he’s too misanthropic, while Flynn can’t be serious for more than two seconds, and often doesn’t take Rapunzel seriously either, not even during important moments, like when she was leaving the tower for the first time. I think she would have needed more support from him in that moment, but instead Flynn was always cracking jokes, and at that moment, I think he already understood that she had been living in isolation all that time, and so I think he already understood why she was so scared. On the other hand, Eric can be both ironic and funny, while also taking Ariel seriously and supporting her during important moments, but that’s just my opinion.
okay okay someone please hear me out
the mind trap in s3 controls the members of the brotherhood because of their connection to the moonstone (technically their oath but like hold on) and Eugene is in the DIRECT line of succession for the Dark Kingdom’s throne and is technically supposed to carry on protecting the moonstone
SO IMAGINE it affects him too when cass gets it. Not completely like the others because he didn’t personally take the oath— but slowly overtime it mixes his love for Rapunzel with the order to keep her from getting the moonstone. Then we get Eugene going all JD-from-Heathers type of obsession with trying to capture Rapunzel to keep her away while also being so in love with her.
I know I’m taking so large leaps in logic but I just need to see Eugene’s love for Rapunzel in a twisted Meant to Be Yours kinda way
PLEASE SOMEONE DRAW THIS OR WRITE A FIC PLEASE
