Call my daughter dumb one more time and you’ll catch this scepter upside your head.
For the record, you're not exactly a catch, Prince Isaac.
Queen Isabella, I know the truth hurts but do I give a shit? No I don't.
This family is so one-dimensional 😴
3. Prince Isaac
Surprise!!!
My Danganronpa drawing is progressing fairly well, but it’s still far from finished, so in lieu of that, I have something else to share!
So, does anyone remember that drawing I made a few months ago of one of my OCs, Queen Susanna? The green lady with the fancy outfit and sword? No? Yeah? No?
Well, here’s one of her cohorts, the bright, handsome, and witty Prince Isaac!
This high-energy swordsman is Susanna’s second-in-command, and is gifted with the sword, hand-to-hand combat, singing, and dancing, not to mention having a great (if childish at times) sense of humor. And whereas Susanna has power over plants, this warrior has power over light, thus the sun design of his crown, hair, and...whatever the things on his boots are called. Boot crowns? ...I’ll go with that.
His theme of light is also reflected (no pun intended) in his rainbow collar, his moon badge, the star on his sword, and the aurora borealis design on the lower half of his outfit. He’s also a big fan of smiles, laughs, and jokes, thus the (admittedly sort of creepy) grin design on his armor. Don’t let his smile fool you, though, because much like Susanna, he can get quite serious in combat. He may rank below her, but his fighting style has spelled disaster for many an opponent. So...make sure you stay on his good side. 😉
And as much as I’d like to take credit for inventing all the fine details of this drawing myself, it was mostly stolen inspired by a picture of Fire Emblem’s Prince Marth.
You’ll notice a lot of similarities between the two characters’ outfits if you compare them -- the wrinkles in their outfits, their poses, the position of their swords, and so on. One of my favorite things about drawing is the ability to take characters, locations, items, etc. from other artists and pose and arrange them however you want (an ability which should, of course, be used wisely), so I had some fun copying parts of Marth’s appearance and pose while changing other parts to suit my character. Heh...“suit.” 😏
In case you’re wondering, there are more of these characters on the way (and I’ll eventually work up a full story for them), so stay tuned!
Also, I’ll aim to have that Danganronpa picture done within another three weeks or so. It’s on the bigger side, so naturally it’ll take a while, but I think it’ll be worth the wait, so once again, stay tuned!
