Hi~ I saw the post over your family and I actually noticed the same thing when watching in Spanish. I actually just saw it today in Spanish for the first time. It bothered me so much that what they were saying did not go with the subtitles. I did however notice that what is in the subtitles is directly translated to the English version. The dialog, I'm assuming, is to synchronize it with the mouths. That's just what I think though. Hope it helps? :)

That’s what I thought??? That the subtitles were more of a literal translation of the english? And that’s why it’s so much more formal, while the dialogue they’re saying is far more natural? (and truncated) Except they still use muñeco for snowman and idk that seems like an odd translation to me? 

And I guessed they were syncing it to the mouths, b/c that’s what you have to do when dubbing stuff, but… it got really out of sync in some places, translation wise. If I’d been reading the subtitles alone, I’d have gotten a super different impression than just listening to the movie.
