11.) Would they be up for a date inside the animal crossing museum?

oh, 100% for SURE.

aymeric wouldn’t time travel to complete his museum or perfect his island, but he plays the game so often in between duties that he unlocks everything scary fast compared to proserpina (who has laid her switch on her nightstand, battery dead, for twelve knows how many weeks).

when she finally charges her switch, he requests that she come visit his island posthaste, he has something to show her, and to ‘make sure you don’t have the bedhead it gives you since you’ve been away for so long.’

she obliges, although she doesn’t bother to change the outfit her avatar was wearing when the switch died the last time: a dress better fit for balmy weather, a sunhat, and sandals. he scoffs at her a little from across the room they’re in. his avatar is bundled up in a coat, long pants, boots, and a winter hat.

“it’s not really autumn,” she laughs at the faux-pouty look aymeric gives her. “she’s not really cold.”

“it’s the principle of the matter,” he argues, “but it’s fine; your character looks cute, just follow me.”

proserpina does so happily, resisting the siren call of being able to hit him with a net. his island is immaculately decorated and she takes care to walk along the paths he’s laid out, avoiding running through his gardens. once they reach the museum, aymeric proudly shows off his up-to-date museum.

“how did you find the time to complete this, ser aymeric, lord commander of the temple knights?” she teases him and runs through each room, listening to the tap of her virtual shoes on the museum floorboards.

he shrugs sheepishly and avoids her gaze, his avatar running behind her. “well, i have a lot of down time in between projects and meetings. even more when you’re away.”

they spend at least an hour posing for photos - the aquarium is proserpina’s favorite place to take pictures - and going back and forth between each others’ islands. aymeric politely declines to comment on the state of her island (so many weeds), but delights in following her around in her own bare museum in return. it’s hers, after all; he’d love it no matter what. 

and it’s nice to just relax together for once.
