Beth Ravencoft meets LONG BOI (Nioh 3)

So, Ive been absolutely addicted to Nioh 3 these days and I felt like sharing some general impressions on it as I have done at least 70% of the base game(basically at the last chapter section).

I gotta say overall it's all positive stuff really. The combat feels incredible, and surprisingly they managed to make it feel even better than 2 (by adding some small improvements). Im very surprised by the Samurai/Ninja mode stuff cause I was one of the very sceptical side when it came from a gameplay perspective. Well im happy to say Ive been enjoying that bit a lot as well! Switching between them feels nice and the combo moves between them feel pretty nice (plus, 4 weapons!)

The Semi openworld stuff also I really like, its not too big to feel empty or bloated but the colectibles and stuff to find and fight around in general feels like a nice inbetween the more traditional Nioh mission structure and I really dig it.

Story feels like the same old same old overall, but I do like the addition of the Crucible stuff, altho I liked it better when the main character was a half yokai and in a way "less important" compared to say "future leader of country tm" in this game XD

From coop ive already started helping some folks online and as usual per Nioh coop, I absolutely adore it. And im super stoked to do expedition exploring with my best friend!

Now I do have one HUGE per peeve, it might be just a me thing but I need to talk about it. I feel like Team Ninja REALLY dropped the ball when it came to Fashion this time around, like 80% of the armors are recycled from the old games (with some recolors to pad the already small number of new model variety) and worst of all, the Samurai/Ninja thing straight up cuts these limited options in half! (im aware that there are 2 or 3 armors that have like both versions but still)

Like if we are recycling the old armors they couldve atleast put more of them from 1 and 2 in there. Honestly not being able to mix and match armor pieces really grinds my gears...AND final complaint. I WANT MY HAYABUSA ARMOR! Already I dread the fact if it comes its probably gonna be Ninja exclusive but Im really upset that of all the recycled armors we couldnt get one of the best ones in Vanilla game this time around. Having to wait for the chance of it making a come back all the way to September or Next year for the DLCs is a bit of a painful prospect, since my character here kinda needs that aesthetic to complete her look.

But with all that ranting done. Im absolutely loving the game, it has been an absolute joy, and I cant wait to start really messing around with Builds in NG+ once Im done with the story. Seems like in this game Ill be able to make all my main OCs and seemlessly change between them without cost (other than the gear grind) and Im stoked!

so... on neurodivergence and fan art in progress

been working on it, need to add waterworks and Wayne, but otherwise, seems ok, not fond of the sleeves colors though but I hope to be able to make it better more or less easily, also I wasn't fond of the idea of including Miles but I'm incredbly fond of how I drawn him

other wip on the different Maria's in video games, I wanted to draw Nioh and Bloodborne and Silent Hill the most but the rest impacted a lot of players from what I've heard

Otherwise any neurodivergent out there? Been diagnosed recently and it made lot of sense for most of the social issues I've had, but everytime I try to talk about it, either to friends, family or professionnals they all seem to say something along the lines "it doesn't really exist or matter, we're all different so we're all the same" wich both makes senses an none at all.... any feeback? advices?

A commission for @rawbiredbest! + a cooler tone edit, I couldn't tell which one I liked more. :) I've never drawn a sporty motorcycle or done sunset-y lighting before but I'm pretty happy with how the leather and especially the bike turned out!
