but isnt the purpose of the root canal that you wont feel anythign with that tooth????(unless you have a cap over it and the cap digs into your gum each time you take a bite)

Well yeah that's the point but directly after the root canal you've basically been having someone rip out the roots of your teeth and poke around the base of the gums to get rid of it entirely so everything is tender from being fucked with. Like I'm gonna have to take painkillers for a few days and not eat anything too crunchy or I'm in for a world of pain.

Not to mention my gums are still all bloody tasting cause of how many times she had to stab them to numb them up. 4 shots until I couldn't feel.
