Sword and Bow - Breton version
Robin wasn’t a man of many talents but hunting and tracking are pretty high in his skills list, of course his archery is undoubtedly number one, which means that the aforementioned skills are at best number two, if this city was a forest, Robin would have done this a lot quicker but a city of steel and cement was a lot different from his usual leaf and wood world or even the bricks and ore villages and castles he was used to.
Either way, he found his goal, an apartment complex, the house of a certain magus participating in the very same game that made it possible for Robin to be here in the first place. Normally this wouldn’t be the kind of thing a Robin Hood would do, infiltrating the ‘enemy’ base would require a plan that deals with direct combat, something that no green hood wearer was very good at and thus avoided so this rather unusual approach means that Robin’s goal is unlike his usual goals.
There was no need to steal anything anymore, both because there no longer was poor villagers to receive the gold and much less dumb rich people to be mugged like that, the world sure became a more complicated place, one couldn’t play thievery as they pleased without a lot of risk.
All of that means that Robin is here looking for help and thus the front door is taken towards the office of a magus known for taking on certain requests that most other people wouldn’t, or couldn’t.
“Ello~ ‘scuse the sudden visit but I don’t have how to send a letter or a make a phone call to make an appointment so I expe- ..... “
There was no one in the place, only the walls were listening to Robin’s introduction, what a sad way to leave a first impression but also good that no one is around to witness it, a basic flaw of not being able to announce your visit beforehand, you take the risk of meeting an empty place like this but that wasn’t a problem, Robin is from a time where such convenient means of communication did not exist and thus, he is well versed in the solution to the current problem . . . you wait for the person to come back, people come back to their homes ..... eventually.
With that said, Robin is quick to make himself at home, dropping himself on the available couch and springing his feet up to the nearest table like a professional bum, now all that had to be done was take a little nap and wake up when Robin detects the presence of a person, a living person that is it.
Since when that came to Robin’s mind, he noticed that he wasn’t actually alone there, a familiar sensation could be felt in this place, not exactly the same feeling of a servant like himself but there is some other hero in this room, for sure, Robin was no enemy but that does not mean this other hero thinks the same.
“Yo partner, what a cozy place you have here, hope you don’t mind some company while we wait for your master to return, do ya?”
The only thing that do not match the rest of the room was the small armor set just standing there like a good piece of furniture but now that Robin has a good look, there was a pair of green eyes behind that helmet.
