12. off the top of your head, describe one of the worst memories of your life

* yeah, sooo….* i’d say at the top of the list is watching my uncle fall into the core and disappear into the void.* that was, uh, pretty traumatic and i super wish i could forget about it.* he was so excited. he was being…. careless, which he never did, but he was happy.* and he just…. fell, a fucking fluke accident.* and i couldn’t do anything, because even if i jumped after him, if something happened to me, papyrus would be all alone.* so i just watched it happen. it was terrible.

25. have you ever done something that you think you’ll always regret?

* ….yep.* one of the humans who fell a long time ago….* she was one of my best friends, i loved her.* but i couldn’t protect her.* i didn’t want her to face asgore, didn’t want him to kill her.* so i did it instead.* and i’ll always feel guilty.

The fish monster seemed to be lost in her own little bubble, carefully pushing a water lily into the water. Seems like she was by the waterfall as the lily made a little squeaky sound once it hit the wall gently.

At the question, he tensed up to wonder if he was okay, and if it actually mattered enough to confess otherwise if he wasn’t. Berdly glanced away, mumbling his response, “I’m fine.” He wasn’t sure. His words felt stiff. “Yes, I am okay. Don’t worry about me.”
