I've been in two long term relationships, almost back to back since age 15.

I've been single for 5 months now, and adjusting is...hard. I've never been single for this amount of time in almost a decade.

Sometimes I wish I could go back in time and end the first one sooner. I feel as though I missed out on some truly formative years wasting time on him, but I accept that there was a lesson in it. This second one however, still has me reeling.

Currently disassociating and I don't have him to go to right now. Sure I could reach out to a friend but there's a big difference between a non empathetic "😢" response, and someone who knows you down to your core, holding you in their arms and stroking your hair until you feel 'normal' again.

I know some of you may scoff at this, but times are weird babes.
