Today Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia visit their duchy Värmland , the day began with a meeting with health care professionals who talk about the work so far during the pandemic. After that The Prince Couple rolled on towards a meeting with members out of the group "Outstanding single", an initiative that aims to create community and that as a single person you should meet parents and children in the same situation.

Later in the day, a meeting awaited with the creators behind the digital platform Zimify, which is about preventing exclusion and loneliness among students.

“What a day we had in Värmland today! We heard this morning about the progress of the pandemic and the impressive changes that have been made at the Central Hospital in Karlstad. IVA nurse Mia touched on her strong stories about how to never cease to constantly stop and show humanity towards all patients - even when it has been at its hardest. The initiative " Outstanding Single ", where mothers and their children find community and support, in times of isolation was also strong and uplifting. The journey then went on to inspiring " Innovation Park " where we got to meet young entrepreneurs who developed a digital platform to prevent loneliness in students. A project in time! At lunch we found that Värmland continues to deliver culinary experiences. " Kulinarika " is a beautiful place with excellent food - really from earth to table! We ended the day at Västanå theater with its unique environment, creations and incredible performance. Everyone we visited has been affected by the pandemic in one way or another. On Wednesday 28 October, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia will visit Värmland County.

On Thursday 19 November, the Prince and Princess will visit Dalarna County.
