Your Efforts Is What Matters Dear...

{ Alastor x Charlie Fluff }
It’s been a few months since everyone has been working on the hotel endlessly for its official grand opening to the public. Nifty cleaned up the entire hotel from top to bottom, Husk worked on the bar and stocking up beverages in addition to glassware, Angel Dust set up the appearances for the rooms and the front desk, and lastly Charlie, Vaggie, along with Alastor, worked on the paperwork and the important information regarding the establishment. For the most part, everyone seemed to be working along with one another just fine, on the exception for Vaggie and the Radio Demon..
Regularly Charlie would have to step in between the two for every minor thing; a tone of voice, a glare, a joke, a facial expression, etc. and Vaggie would immediately become defensive threatening Alastor. He found it to be entertaining to watch as the short grey moth would lose her temper so quickly, but at a distance he can see that it was taking a toll on Charlie emotionally. She would always cover her true feelings behind a sweet smile and all around optimism, on contrary of Vaggie who loathed the idea that he was there to “help.”
“He isn’t here for the intent to help; he wants to destroy and ruin everything. Watch it as it falls apart from the inside till nothing could be left!” Vaggie would repeat to her every time she would talk to her, attempting to calm her down; but it would only silence her rage for a short time til it would just arise again. Alastor would never react to her attitude towards him other than raise a brow and at times chuckle at her face; sometimes be close by her just to toy with her or touch her which would set her off into a flaming rage. But lately Charlie’s spark was running low, her smiles weren’t genuine, her eyes lost some of the shine she had, and her brows were drawn up; even he voice was becoming softer whenever she would have to talk to Vaggie and Alastor together.
Alastor may be a sociopath and could not possibly fully understand her feelings, let alone how the two even balanced each other, but he could understand that the ongoing battles between the two of them were running her emotions down. He could hear Charlie at times pleading with Vaggie to just try to work together but to her it wasn’t feasible. She was tough, and she definitely could care less about who or what he was, she didn’t trust him and that was that. Nothing Charlie could say would change her thinking for a second and that meant for as long as he was around, this would continue. Although he felt some remorse for the princess, he wasn’t going anywhere. They needed him more than he did, and he was very well aware of that. Without his help, their would be nothing, and unfortunately it was a truth Vaggie did not want to believe.
As like any other day, Alastor, Vaggie, and Charlie were speaking of plans to arrange for the hotel.
“Charlie my dear, surely a stage for bands to play or such would make a fantastic addition to the downstairs area. Why~ it would bring excitement for the sinners to relax and have a show!”
Alastor stated as he walked over to one of the vacant rooms gesturing his hand open. Vaggie glared at the deer demon calling him a ‘bastardo’ under her breathe as she crossed her arms.
“Well, I think that this spot would be great for the sinners to gather and get to know each other, rather than dance around and be silly. We already have that bar to take care of that...”
Vaggie exclaimed as she turned her head to face Charlie but still keeping contact with him. They went back and forth on the discussion as how the room should be used until Vaggie began to shout and call him names. Once again did he roll his eyes and cackle as white noise rumbled from behind his sinister smile.
“Oh come now Vaggie, their is no need to be such a child. Their is plenty of rooms that you can occupy your depressing gathering. It should not be on first floor view...”
Once Alastor called her a child, she saw red.
“Child?! A CHILD?!! Charlie, that is it! I’m done with this payaso! I’m over this. I am leaving!”
Vaggie shouted as she threw her hands up and began to walk away towards the exit. Nothing Charlie was going to say was going to stop her from walking away this time; she could not stand another second being in that room with him. Once she was at the door, she turned around one more time to flip Alastor off as she slammed the other shut. Cracking the wall from where the door hinges were..
