I CANT HOLD IT IN ANY LONGER!!! I am so excited to finally announce that I have been given the honor and privilege of being invited by @vizmedia to be a VIP guest at the premiere of Sailor Moon R the Movie tonight!!! As many of you know already, Sailor Moon is a huge part of my life and this invitation means so much to me. In my excitement, I decided to make something new for the black tie affair and thanks to a helpful suggestion from @koneko.kisa landed on Hotaru's princess gown from the manga. I've been wanting to make this dress for ages and I'm so proud of myself for busting it out in a day! It's absolutely perfect and I can't wait to walk the red carpet in it in a few hours! Best. Night. Of. My. Life. I have no words to express how grateful I am to @vizmedia for inviting me to be a part of this incredible event. I feel as though my life has come full circle. If you had told little 7 year old me that I would one day be watching one of my favorite movies at the time on the big screen not only as an adult but as an invited guest I would've pissed myself. I still can't believe tonight really happened and I feel so blessed for the path my life has taken that brought me to this point. As for the movie, I left with a smile on my face and tears in my eyes. It was one of my favorite movies as a child and seeing it unedited gave me a new perspective on everything. If you're on the fence about hitting up a screening, get out there and do it. It was a magical experience and I can't wait to do this all over again for Sailor Moon S the Movie! Now it's off to bed for this princess.
