Seen while aboard the @princessmontereywhalewatching Atlantis. The Naturalist Kylee narrates. It was a very memorable week! I am so grateful to have seen amazing Orca encounters. We saw nine Transient Ca51 pod Orcas including two babies, three males (two of them Bumper & Orion) & four female whales. I screamed with excitement 🤣 We saw nine Orcas including babies, (a newborn still with an orange coloring from it’s capillaries seen through a thin layer of blubber) three males & four female whales. The dorsal fin of a male killer whale is proportionately larger than that of a female. In adult males, the dorsal fin is tall and triangular. Reaching a height of up to 6 ft. & it is the tallest dorsal fin of all cetaceans. What an AMAZING day I had whale watching with @princessmontereywhalewatching.
