Princess Anne training her daughter Zara at an event in 1995
Can you imagine in a few years we will probably see her do the same thing with at least one of her grandkids 🥺👀
The Princess Royal at train station 🚂 I love bentley on station
Very good bigboss ma'am
I couldn't believe it, the Queen who was once the young princess I was named after, was gone from this world forever. I can remember meeting her for the first time when she was only seven years old not long after I was built. Such an innocent soul she was back and I would watch her grow into a strong Queen who I inspired to be, and I was honored when she give me the chance to pull the Royal Train for her Diamond Jubilee back in 2012. She'll be missed greatly by everyone, including myself, rest in peace your majesty. ~ LMS No. 6201 Princess Elizabeth
Here is my tribute piece for Queen Elizabeth the Second who passed away on 8th of September 2022 after a 70 year long reign as the Queen of the United Kingdom.
For this I decided to draw an engine who was named after here, this being LMS Princess Royal Class No. 6201 Princess Elizabeth. She was built at Crewe works in 1933 for the London, Midland, and Scottish Railway to haul the Royal Scot Express train between London and Glasgow on West Coast Mainline, and was named after Queen Elizabeth herself when she was only seven years old at the time, twenty years before she became Queen. The engine would work many mainline express services through into nationalisation of Britain's railways in 1948 as part of the Midland Region until being withdrawn in 1962 in which she was preserved by the Princess Elizabeth Locomotive Society and has been working mainline charter services since then, but is currently awaiting overhaul. In 2012 Princess Elizabeth got her chance to pull the Royal Train as part of her Diamond Jubilee tour with the engine travelling from Newport to Hereford and again from Worcester to Oxford.
I actually got to ride behind her back in 2016 as part of a rail tour to Chester via Derby. Boarding the service at March I travelled behind her as far as Derby, where she was changed over for a Class 47 for the rest of the way to Chester. I was able to capture video of the engine as she made her way through the countryside, and when she was being changed over at Derby.
I didn't do that much detailing with this, as I wanted to get this out of the way quickly so I can get back to focus on more important things. My intention was show how the engine would react to her namesakes passing, with all the sorrow we're all feeling at this time at the loss of a great Queen, a grandmother figure we could all look to in both the good times and times of adversity. Rest in Peace you majesty, you will be missed, but not forgotten.

Princess Anne . Anne, Princess Royal, (forenames:Anne Elizabeth Alice Louise) was born on 15 August 1950) . Anne is the second child & only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II & Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. . In 1973, Anne married Captain Mark Phillips, but they separated in 1989 & divorced in 1992. The couple have two children, Zara & Peter Phillips, & four grandchildren.
