"Buy a flower, huh?" Link thought about it for a moment, wondering what was the full price of the said flower, but he had plenty of money to spare, so he wasn't worried about being low on rupees. The flowers could be perfect gifts to his captain and his crewmates. They didn't seem like the type to really enjoy flowers, but he thought they might make some nice gifts for everyone!

"Okay! I'll take eight of them!" He grinned widely and picked up some flowers; One for each member of the crew. Except there was one extra. It wasn't for himself, no. He wasn't planning on treating himself to his own gift. It wasn't for his Grandma or sister either. As much as he would love to gift them with flowers, he was sure the flowers would die before he got back to his home island. After all, it is a pretty long trip to get there.

Instead, he pulled one of the flowers from the bundle he carried in his arms and took one step closer to Mila, gently putting the beautiful flower behind her ear, and stepped back. His grin from earlier turn into a soft smile, and he couldn't help but let out a chuckle.

"Happy Day of Nayru, Mila!"

—The girl’s eyes widened at the proposal. Leave Windfall? Her?

A flock of excitement flittered through her stomach as her eyes met with gently crooning waves. To see the world beyond her island… the thought was more resembling of a dream than reality. Sailing alongside brilliant, sparkling seas, witnessing new, unheard of islands; Getting a glimpse of such a free, lovely world was, precisely as accused, a dream.

This was reality.

Mila’s eyes narrowed as she shook her head. ”Dad needs me here. I’ve got to keep working or he’ll starve.”

Link's face turned into a gentle smile of understanding. He wouldn't want to leave if he was in the same situation as Mila, no matter how much he'd want to travel. Family always came first. Mila was a good kid. She really has changed since then. "Your dad is lucky to have you."

One of the island's pigs was nearby, that it distracted Link momentarily. He loved pigs and it's been a while since he has seen them. So he squats down to appear less threatening to the pig, and pulls out some bait from his pouch. The pig ends up catching the scent of the food and nears Link, which the young hero happily gave to the hungry creature. He chuckles and then remembers why he came to the island in the first place.

"I'm going to have to report back to Tetra that I wasn't able to get the needed supplies. She's going to have a fit if I don't report back to her soon." He chuckles, but is a little sad that he'll have to be leaving Mila. It felt like he just met up with his friend and didn't have much time to spend with her. They did have some time together, but sometimes he just wanted to catch up with some old friends.

"Do you think I can see you later tonight?"

"W-what?" 

"For one, Mila, you're the one who's friends with a Moblin lover. Yeah, I went there." "A-and for two, that's none of you concern! You guys ask the weirdest questions!!"
