Loop had granted quite a few wishes by now, but outside of that very first one, this one caught them off guard the most out of all of them. Not because of the wisher himself, who seemed to just be part of some traveling performance group - and maybe cult? They were getting weird vibes from it - but because of where it put them.
Namely, the fact that they had no idea where this was. They'd never heard of this . . . underground kingdom before. Didn't know it even existed. They supposed they should be grateful, at least, that they were always given whatever abilities they needed to fulfill the wishes they granted, and that that almost always included understanding of whatever language their wisher spoke, and often the language of the surrounding area as well. Because this would be much more difficult, otherwise.
"This" being having to find some kid who was somewhere in this entire kingdom, and they didn't even have a map or compass to help them figure out where they were, nor the ability to buy any.
Needless to say, they were hopelessly lost.
And it did not help that these caverns were so dangerous. They did their best to be careful, but this was not like the House at all, and they'd already looped back twice now. After retreating from a village that had made it very clear that they were not wanted, Loop made their way over a bridge and found themself in . . . a city? Or what was left of one, anyway. Stars, what happened to this place?
Still, this was as good a place to rest as any. They made their way to the end of the building they were currently in and sat down just before reaching the outside, letting the sound of the rain (why was there rain underground?) patter just outside as they pulled out the note that described the person they were supposed to find and tried, for the tenth time, to commit it to memory.
