Feeling a bit vulnerable from revealing a lot more than he planned...Ajay is glad to return to a lighter topic.

Adwin-Jamie: Not really. Everything I need is here...can I show you?

Gretchen: Yeah...sure!

Ajay gets up, with Gretchen right behind him, and leads her to his picnic area.

Adwin-Jamie: This is where I grill from time to time. I don’t do it often because it usually ends up being too much food and since I don’t have refrigeration...a lot of it goes to waste. I mostly eat raw veggies, grains, and yogurt. 

Gretchen: Cool...I would actually benefit from eating more of those things. 

Ajay turns to show her more, but Gretchen stops in her tracks.

Gretchen: Wait...are those bees?!

Ajay gives Gretchen some basic instructions on how to cast her line. She gets it right the first time.

Adwin-Jamie: You’re a natural!

Gretchen: I doubt that. But, I’ve held up my end of the bargain...now it’s your turn.

Adwin-Jamie: Okay...what do you want to know?

Gretchen: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?**

Adwin-Jamie: *no hesitation* Standing right here...doing this.

Carla’s only vendetta or grudge is against herself. Although she was suffering from depression when she left, she’ll still never be able to forgive herself for turning her back on Adwin and Ajay.  

Her darkest secret is that she still loves Adwin. She wants to hate Adwin’s new wife Mina, but Mina is genuinely a nice person...and that makes it worse. If she could turn back time, she would have followed her mom’s advice and come back to Adwin while she had the chance.

Zeton’s guilty pleasure was work...hands down. She enjoyed it more than being at home at times...and that made her feel very guilty. Of course, she loved and cherished her husband and kids, but work satisfied her in a way that nothing else could.

What if Lorenzo (Zo) had left his wife and come back to Zeton...would a long-term relationship have worked between them? I don’t think so. They had love for each other, there’s no denying that but they lived two very different lifestyles. Zo was used to being married to a woman who needed him to take care of her, while Zeton was an intellectual who took pride in being a brilliant scientist. She loved her job and continued working until the day she died. I think Zo would have eventually found her intelligence to be intimidating and his eye would have begun to wander. Zeton would eventually have tired of his professional athlete lifestyle and wouldn’t have been able to tolerate him potentially being unfaithful.

my grandpa got me the first season on vhs when i was a kid & tbh tysm for this ask im like literally so excited to be able to watch it on tubi… the series really meant a lot to little kid me & my siblings (even if i forgot lol) 🫶😭

not to be a know-it-all, but inuyasha actually is a shounen! it was published in weekly shounen sunday. i thought it was a shoujo for a while and was surprised to learn otherwise. manga demographics are so weird sometimes. 😭😭 i do agree that shoujo is heavily stereotyped as being romance only. there's a wider variety of genres in that demographic but so many people don't take the time to explore!

you’re right it actually IS, my oopsies there! i completely forgot it was being released in weekly shonen sunday because it (and a lot of takahashi’s other adventure orientated works) tends to be the forgotten stepchild of the demographic seeing as most mainstream works in that specific category have that Overall Specific Vibe 😭

but thanks for the correction! :’ D demographics for manga really do be annoyingly weird with this stuff sometimes
