The Pool Collective
The Pool Collective started in 2008, with the idea of giving artists a way to contribute freely to all aspects of the commercial creative process in order to maintain the integrity of their work, improve collaboration with agencies, clients and other artists during production, and to initiate a wider conversation on how to share their experience to cultivate the next wave of image-makers.
M35 were commissioned to refresh The Pool Collective identity and build a new website which better reflected the ambition of the artists. The word marque was designed to visually reference the logo itself, and in doing so create a more flexible branding system where the word marque and logo were interchangeable. The concept for the website revolves around the idea that the collective’s creative output is more important than the individual’s, with all artists’ work being featured together.
