Now there is a printable cardstock version of the quilted plague doctor mask!
It is a four page document, the mask itself prints on 3 pages of US letter sized cardstock and has tabs for gluing, and there is a layout page to show the assembly order.
I really really recommend using something to score the lines so that it folds neatly – a ballpoint pen that has run out of ink works pretty well.
Photos of order of assembly under the cut.
Cut out and score the bits and arrange them the same as the layout diagram
Join together the long top piece and the top face piece (marked with ‘a’ on the tabs)
Join together underneath the eye holes (marked with ‘b’ on the tabs).
Join the top pieces to the bottom pieces along the sides (marked with ‘c’ on the tabs). I usually start with the bit just before the under-eye joins, then do the one at the very back, then do the bit in the middle, but whatever works for you.
Join the two halves together along the top (marked with ‘d’ on the tabs)
Connect the bottom join (marked with ‘e’ on the tabs)
I didn’t put any holes for you to put elastic in there, but go with wherever feels right.
(I also have a version of this file that can be laser cut. I use lightburn software on an Emblaser core, so the file is configured for that, but let me know if you want it.)
