I bought a 3D printer a couple of years ago. Split the cost with a co-worker and we did a couple of prints. He became disinterested and I bought him out.
I’ve had nothing but issues with it. First was hot end jamming. I cleaned the hot end multiple times and felt defeated. Then a friend suggested I switch filament. I did and what do you know? Fixed. Now I get lift issues. The corners consistently lift. The same friend, coincidentally with the same printer, has now recommended I haven’t properly leveled the heated bed. This is entirely likely.
I’m going to spend serious time dialing in this printer because I know it can do good prints. This is my fault. I get impatient and do only a so-so job in setting it up.
Libs this morning asked “what would a good 3D printer cost?” Her reaction when I said “a couple grand” was priceless. That’s right, I’ll give this one more chances because it’s expensive to replace.
