From @pinezenpottery • • • • • • Got into a mug making groove today with these new @sanbaostudio designs. It’s a super groovy pattern that transferred perfectly. I was going to take all of January off of mug making—but to be honest, I kind of missed making them—so they made an early comeback. 😁 I am hoping to have a shop update with new work in the next couple weeks. Date/time TBD. In the meantime I have opened my shop up again to try and clear out older work. Most of which is still 1:2 off. I will only be shipping on Tuesdays and Fridays while I am devoting most of my energy to making new work. Happy Monday my friends! On the positive note the last 3 bottles came out good. Of course now that the studio is closed no new work till may unless I figure alternate firing place because I can not do the cone 10 reduction at home. Attempting a little refinement on my combined print on ceramics workshop with Tutors Elaine (ceramics), Mary (ceramics) and Fiona (print)

From our original rolled out slabs, I decided to dry my slab in a circular shape. I want to make this piece into a stand alone sculptural structure as I am discovering through ceramics that clay can embody the fluidity of water through its Plasticity making it quite a versatile element to continue exploring.
