I know this is coming out of literally nowhere but I lost my job recently and don't have any income so I am going to be opening up some readings.

reflective practice 26.06.22

this is my first documented reflective practice, going to try and record these on this new tumblr blog so I can keep track - today’s messages were heavy, but poignant, as they sum up how I have been feeling for some time.

what is blocking me presently?

mystery (prism oracle): life’s unanswered questions are in my head today. since last year, life’s path has been a mystery. there is no path set in stone and I am finding this troubling. normally I can embrace some level of mystery, but I am craving to know things for certain. 

what needs to be addressed?

pain (prism oracle): there have been deep wounds from the past that are effecting my present. this pain is clouding my ability to gain answers to the mysteries in my life.  

what energy am I carrying at this time that is influencing this?

the lizard and the pitcher plant/stagnation (woodland wardens oracle): feeling frozen in place, as though change is not able to happen for fear of falling into the trap. but change is inevitable, and necessary for survival, so I need to drop my tail like the lizard and begin the regrowth, however painful it might be.

An oracle reading.

Eddie: Anger. Rejection. Mystery.

The anger is directed towards himself. He's angry at himself for ignoring the nagging in his head that told him Christopher was internalizing him getting hurt so many times in a short space of time, but it's obvious now, after losing Shannon, of course he would. The fear of rejection comes at him from all angles in this; starting with the 118. Is Eddie the new Red? Does this mean he loses his (found) family? Is he still one of them? Is he breaking his own promise? Let's mix mystery into the rejection pie too! Is this the return of his parents trying to lure him back to El Paso? There's nothing for him in LA anymore, he doesn't have a support system anymore, he doesn't have a job anymore, he needs his family, for Christopher. And what about the job? What the hell is he supposed to do now?
