📏<- genuinely wondering because my canvas sizes are so random at times- as long as the thang vaguely resembles a rectangle it's fine and I always wonder what other artists default to ! (side question related to it : ever had to limit your canvas size because of brushes lagging like hell or just- some tools you use not working / being less comfortable to work with ?)

haha for me it tends to be pretty random as well! if its just a doodle or otherwise piece im not super concerned about the presentation of, it might end up on a super small canvas. the default canvas size in sketchbook is 3024 x 1832, and my sketches are typically much smaller than that so ill just crop the canvas around my drawing after im done with it.

for more complicated or polished drawings, i usually stick with 2-3k pixels wide on all sides!

i haven't really experienced that, but my canvases are never THAT large so i might just not be testing the boundaries enough lol
