Michael finished his paper, adding the final period, making sure to save the paper, and sent the file to his email so he could grab it from the library the next day. 

Leaning back for a second, Michael stretched, feeling all his muscles tense before standing up, straightening his shirt and leaving his room. Walking down the hall, he didn't bother knocking on a certain green door. He pushed at the doorknob, opening the door enough for him to slip into the room, and he saw a head of copper hair facing away from him. Walking over to her, Michael pushed her hair off of one of her shoulders, kissing it lightly before grinning. 

"Hey," he said. "Paper's done."

Michael opened the passenger door for Josephine, giving her a slight smile as she climbed into the car. Giving a cursory nod to her older brother as he got into the backseat with a book, Michael walked around to the driver's side, getting in and starting the car.  "Well," he said. "I'm going to bring us to a sideroad I know about. No one should be using it; we can get a little practice in, okay?" Reaching over and giving Josephine's hand a slight squeeze before changing gears, Michael grinned. "This is either going to be great or a disaster."
