I would die for a sun and moon movie. I would die a thousand times for a movie with a cast of characters that we all know and love. But I would not ever die for what m20 is now.

M20 is just a symbol of everything wrong with the anime as it is today, really heartbreaking considering how initially excited we all were for it

probs because of everyone getting salty when they saw the new style on ash's face... and now refusing to watch the anime

honestly, I still find it weird that people refuse to watch it because of the style. I didn’t like it at first either, but... now I’m used to it and even find it cute. And when it comes to the anime itself, it’s so pure and domestic (with hints of darker stuff in the aether arc), and sure, there are episodes in which not much happens (much like in /all/ the seasons. You wouldn’t believe the amount of fillers with the exact same plot - cotd appears, TRio causes trouble, cotd saves the day - in OS), but I still love to see what the normal life of Ash&friends looks like. Also, S&M has taken a fresh take in a lot of things, for example how they handle TRio, showing what Ash does at “home”, and wait for it: it has also given him a father figure..
