#pro consistent characterization

Everyone else, including OG Will Graham, would’ve been like, ‘Yeah, this reality sucks. I must make it suck less. By taking down Hannibal!’ Instead, the show makes Will go, ‘I know! I will become Hannibal 2.0!’ Like, WTF???

I desperately need for the next two episodes (6x09 and 6x10) to go well, because I am getting very close to consigning this entire season to the trash.

And by “go well” I mean:

Octavia gets more than 5 minutes of screentime per episode

Along with Octavia’s increased screentime, she maintains consistent characterization (something that she’s still kept so far this season, thankfully, unlike almost every other character, who has suffered from inconsistent or outright illogical characterization - did the writers of this season even watch the last five seasons?)

No memory loss/de-aged to season 1/whatever bullshit to “reset” Octavia into someone who she no longer is

No apologies to Bellamy unless he’s got three times the number of apologies to give to her

I’m also desperately hoping that the Octavia vs Blodreina scene ends in reconciliation of these different parts of her rather than Octavia killing Blodreina, but I don’t know if I’ll be so lucky as to get this one

Can I hope? Well, with other seasons, I would have said yes, because characterization was relatively consistent. But with consistent characterization, plot continuity and who knows what information being thrown out the window this season, I don’t think I can trust these writers at all. And that makes me very sad.
