To my Sharon Loves and those that may dislike Hayley - I’m one of those. I don’t like how she can remember EVERYONE’S name but Emily’s. Rude. And there are so many other things.

THE NEXT TIME I SEE SOMEONE SAY INCEST IN REGARDS TO THE STARON KISS I WILL PERSONALLY REMIND YOU OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:

Now that I have your attention, let me explain. If you watched the Agent Carter series you will know Peggy was only depicted as having ONE older brother. Just the one.

Said brother, Michael, DIED during WWII and he was the one who recommended Peggy for the field work. Upon news of his death she called off her engagement and joined the SSR where she went on to meet Steve, Bucky, the Commandos, and eventually Daniel Sousa - he’s the one I have set as Grace and Scarlett’s grandfather.

There was no wedding ring. There was no wife present at the engagement party for Peggy in the episode where we learn about Michael.

THEREFORE Sharon must be a relation down on Peggy’s father’s side. Which nullifies the idea that she is actually Peggy’s real niece.

But as far as the Staron kiss, it is not incest. Steve is not biologically/DNA related to Sharon. Therefore you were wrong before my explanation ever began.

And those that stan Peggy that’s fine. But please remember this bit of information: in the comics SHARON came first. Peggy was created as a sister for her and then went on to become her niece in later versions. But for the most part Staron has been endgame for most of the comics.

THERE IS A SHARON ROGERS AS CAPTAIN AMERICA FUNKO POP PEOPLE!

I don’t think I’d hate Steve Rogers as much if the movie had actually given Wanda a few scenes where they acknowledge her guilt at having joined HYDRA (plus mention her actions to redeem herself)

AND if Sharon had some story instead of a half-baked love plot with the human form of 🇺🇸. They wasted her and did her dirty to fulfill a kiss that NOBODY asked for.

And they still do her dirty by basically going back on the kiss instead of trying to follow through and making Stove travel to Peggy (as if it wasn’t weird that the guy went from the aunt, to the niece, to back to the aunt).

My opinion on Sharon and Staron

Ok. I’m gonna say this. I’m probably gonna get some hate for this, but here we go.

I’m actually okay with Staron, and it does not deserve the hate that it gets. And Sharon is a badass queen who I love very much. 

I say this as a hardcore Stucky shipper and someone who loves Steggy. 

Even though I have never read any of the comics, I know that Staron is a strong couple in the comics, and the MCU is loosely based on the comics, so Staron was bound to become canon at some point.

Anyway, here is why I’m okay with it in the MCU

First off, Steve and Peggy, no matter how much I love them, the truth is, they only shared a couple of kisses in TFA. They didn’t become an actual couple, due to Steve crashing the plane in the Arctic. So there is no “Cheating” on Steve’s part. 

And, (I’m not counting EG, cuz that movie is so confusing), since Steve and Peggy were never dating/married, there is no incest as well.

And while I do feel, that the movies could have shown more Sharon, remember this... Sharon was supposed to have more screentime than she did. Also, blame the Russos for cutting her scenes out

Moving onto the hate on Sharon:

You can hate a character yes, but please do not hate them just because “they got in the way of your ship” or “They are only there as a love interest”.

I highly doubt that the only reason Sharon was put into the MCU was to get in the way of the ships. I mean, in stucky’s case, it was never gonna be canon, so....

And we see, even with how less screentime she had, we see that she is dedicated and loyal af. She was ready to protect Steve as much as she could

SHARON CARTER IS A MOTHERFUCKING QUEEN AND SHE DESERVES MORE LOVE

Also, hating on Emily, just because you don’t like Sharon is a new fucking low. If you hate Sharon, that’s fine. But don’t blame Emily because of it. Like honestly.

No one deserves death threats and people telling her to kill herself. 

It’s toxic fans that piss me off.
