So COVID-19 has been confirmed one county north of me, so it’s probably already making its way around.
My workplace’s policy is to not alter the policy. If you get sick, you should stay home. If you don’t have PTO, it’s unpaid.
It’s March. We accrue PTO, no rollover from prior year (unless you went over of course). NO ONE has 2 weeks of PTO saved up in March. Most people can’t afford to lose 2 weeks of pay. Most assignments cannot be done remotely.
This is why people keep going to work when sick.
