Yo, I understand why people hate Mikasa to a certain degree. I too had my own moment of love-hate hours with her. But she is not the aot version of Sakura Haruno her antis want her to be. She's just that protective and devoted to Eren to the point she almost jeopardized her relationship with, literally, anyone else. She never trivialize his pain like Sakura did with Sasuke, never guilt tripped Eren into loving her back. She just wanted the dude to live so much she didn't think about her own life. She's given a chance to confess her feeling but she didn't act upon it, did she? She could have easily abandon her friends and join the yeagerist but she refused the offer. She could continue refusing to kill Eren when the rumbling happen yet it was her blade that decapitated her most important person in the world. And Sakura? She was ready to abandon her friends and LIVING and BREATHING family so she could go rouge with Sasuke because that's romantic lmao. They are different.
