I was doing some research on the primary mechanism of action of THC and comparing to endogenic cannabinoids. Was anyone going to tell me that weed activates our rest state in the same way it's activated when we exercise or are injured or was I just supposed to figure it out myself?

So just to clarify if there were any doubts that Doug Benson actually consumed Cannabis at all during Superhigh Me:

There were plenty of shots of him smoking from pipes or joints, eating edibles, and also killing bags from Volcanos.

I doubt he'd claim to be a smoker of 17 years if he weren't

I doubt High Times would name him the #2 stoner comic at one time

I doubt he'd convince all the other famous people in the movie to play along.

But most importantly, even if he did make all this shit up, who really cares?  He made a movie that clearly shows many of the positive sides of cannabis and even dispels some myths.  It's a pro marijuana motion picture and we should all be happy such big names were willing to use their reps to promote our favorite recreational past-time.
