It's actually AWESOME when you have an f/o who likes or does things you yourself genuinely dislike.
Like. Characters are nice who r completely right with you all the time, but... being reminded of the fact your f/o is seperate from you, their own being with their own interests too... is so great. It makes it feel so much more real. It reminds me of how things would unfold in real life.
Like. I'll be displeased with something and then realize my f/o would REALLY like it and it makes me frown, but then like. I think about it. In real life. The interaction/s we'd have about it. Them poking me about it. And I really dislike it, but I love how present it makes my f/o.
