what headcanons do you have for prowl in your humanformers au :0

Weeelllll, he’s an asexual, homoromantic transman. He is also autistic and isolates himself because he doesn’t do so well with social interaction and dislikes loud noises. His helmet has adjustable noise-cancelling headphones built in so it’s rare to see him without it on. He also wears his visor all the time because he’s sensitive to bright light the same way he is to loud noises.

Describing nationalities for this au is hard since they don’t come from Earth but still have Earth cultures/linage. It’s especially hard for Prowl to describe since a lot of his memories of before the war are blurry, but from what he remembers, Prowl came from a mostly Thai community, but was taken to/left in an Autobot city state after it was attacked and destroyed near the beginning of the war.

Also, not necessarily a headcanon, but Prowl might live at the end of this au.

Consider: autistic swindle using money to stim in some way

YES! YES! YES!

The fwipping sound and texture when he scrapes his thumb over a wad of cash are two of his favorite stims. Flipping coins is also a stim he has, along with spinning them on tables like tops. But he also sometimes the urge to rip up cash when he’s super stressed, because it’s paper-like, which only worsens his stress because he’s trying to suppress it. Luckily he can usually tell when something’s going to stress him out so he gets out paper (usually thicker stuff like construction or watercolor paper) to rip up.

thundercracker will literally cry whenever people give him positive attention without him fishing for it. also sunstorm came from a neglectful home so he feels like he has to constantly praise others or else he'll be forgotten about. starscream clones are my entire purpose for existing,,,

YESSSSSSSS!! Not only does Sunstorm give constant praise to be remembered, but also to get what he wants without asking for it, because Starscream would often react badly to being asked for stuff if he was in a bad mood (which was on a near-daily basis). He’ll give Hothead five or so compliments before making a suggestion for lunch.

consider: humanformers skywarp being genderfluid and have paranoia/anxiety disorders. also he stims mostly by clicking pens and hand flapping

I didn’t think about him being genderfluid, I was thinking about agender Skywarp but didn’t make it canon for some reason. But he definitely is paranoid and stims with pen clicking + hand flapping. He also chews a lot of gum to keep from clenching his teeth and taps his foot when he’s sitting. He doesn’t like being touched or hugged unexpectedly and has misophonia, mostly set off by metal scrapping against things and people talking loudly/yelling because of the environment he was created in.

what if somebody gave sunstorm a genuine compliment out of nowhere and he just started crying because he doesnt know how to deal with any form of praise

That has happened before. It scared everyone and they didn’t know how to get him to stop.

YES!! Not only that, but even after he and the others got away from Starscream, he couldn’t let go of his lying habit because, similar to Sunstorm and his complimenting, it’s all Ramjet has that makes him memorable. Even if Starscream hated his lying, it made Ramjet feel safe and like he was different in a way. But now he doesn’t want to leave that safety and lose that memorability and that’s why he hasn’t changed himself since he joined the Decepticons.
