"It's kind of amazing, actually." Izuku pointed out as he and Iida-kun made their way towards the school. "I mean, busting the CRC hideout all the way there while they're... um... allegedly working mostly in Mustafa is nothing to scoff at! Most Heroes don't have that kind of range!"
"Be that as it may, Vigilantism on that scale is an exceptionally foolish idea!" Iida-kun cried out, doing his usual thing with the arms. "Traveling all over the country like this is HIGHLY likely to affect one's sleep schedule, as well as any purely theoretical schoolwork that group might have if we're operating under the assumption that their age might be close to ours!" Kind of a mouthful, Iida-kun... Cutting it close, too-
The sewer cover directly next to them suddenly rang out with a loud clang, actually lifting slightly into the air. "Hi, Uraraka-san!"
"Hi, Deku-kun, Iida-kun!" Her cheerful voice sounded off from the opening, not quite managing to drown out the sound of a pained groan and a body falling into the water. "Sorry for not walking with you today, but I still have some stuff to take care of in the morning!"
Iida-kun frowned. "I can only hope you're not doing such work in your uniform."
"Got it stashed and ready for change, no worries!" Her voice got more distant, soon joined by some faint screaming.
"In that case, I only wish you don't arrive late! An UA student should always arrive early-" He cut himself off, eyes looking at a group giving them... very, very familiar kind of looks. "...In part to account for any eventualities that may arise during transit. If you'll excuse me, Midoriya-kun."
"Oh, yeah, no, go ahead." He waved it off, already looking for a place that would give him the best opening to help if things got hairy. "No Quirk, like always?"
"Of course!" He looked downright offended at the suggestion. "That would be Vigilantism!" He started speed-walking towards the group. "Now, excuse me while I talk to this gentleman, hopefully without having to resort to very appropriate self-defense measures!"
"Whatever you say, Iida-kun." He sighed, just... watching him go there in full lecture mode. "Wonder how long it's going to take..."
"I'll give it half a minute, *ribbit*." Tsuyu-san mused. "Iida-kun is in rare form today."
"Yeah, he really is-" Izuku stopped, blinking. "Wait, Tsuyu-san? When did you-" He turned his head to see... nothing at all. "Um, Tsuyu-san?" He looked around some more, but he only found empty air. Well, empty air and a note on the ground- "Hey, wait, is that an autograph?!" He bent down to pick it up, faintly registering the distinct rush of air that came from a body just barely missing his back.
Average day, really.
