Have you asked the cards if he can tell when someone who is friends with him is a clout chaser? If he can, how does he react?
Hello! I think I asked at some point, but I asked again now that he is more famous. The first question was whether he can tell when someone is a clout chaser or not. The cards were Judgement, 10 of Hedgehogs reversed and The World reversed.
Judgement means he might be in a period of awakening and trying to have a clearer idea of things, starting with his own self-reflection. He could evaluate the situations and even the people by what they do, by the way they act with him. 10 of Hedgehogs reversed, however, could point to him thinking more short-term than long-term, and not thinking much about the future. He may search more for approval from the outside than actually focusing on the connections with these people. There could be some conflict and problems leading to The World reversed. It’s like something is missing, there is this emptiness and lack of fulfilment. He doesn’t really feel whole or complete with these “friends”, and he knows that. So I would say he does notice the “clout chasing” friends, even when they treat him well, which he likes, there is a feeling that the pieces are not coming together.
The second question was how he might react to it in case he notices it, and the cards were the Queen of Teacups, 7 of Spears and 8 of Spears. The Queen of Teacups is the most intuitive and sensitive Queen, she cares about others and their feelings, she is nurturing and caring and her love is honest. So he could sometimes think with his heart instead of his mind and he wants to be there for people emotionally. 7 of Spears represents lies and trickery, even inner deceit and fooling yourself. It can be about betrayal and not being able to get away with something, about deception. This could mean he will either not be honest with himself about it or not be honest with the friend, because he is that nurturing and sensitive person. The result, however, would be the 8 of Spears, and the feeling of being trapped and restricted. Tied up, blindfolded, he will feel powerless, imprisoned and paralyzed. He may be trapped between knowing they are clout chasers, being the loving person he is and also because he might want to be loved and cared for by them.
So he potentially sees it, but could struggle to act on it for various reasons. He might think too much about the present instead of a long-term thing aswell.
