Third Time’s a Fucking Problem || Nigel and Kaden
Kaden knew it was a risk, surely, but he felt it. That moment where all the hairs on his arm stood on edge. The moment he knew a werewolf was around. And it happened just a moment after the woman behind him ran into him in line at Coffee Plus. Shame that she was cute. Sure it made flirting easier but it made killing her inevitability worse. Oh well. Had to be done. But of course only if she was in fact a werewolf. “It’s on me,” he told her and directed her to take a seat, he’d bring her coffee to her. With that sugar she asked for. And a little something extra.
He took the drinks over to the drink station after they came out and, as per usual, pulled out the vial of colloidal silver from his jacket pocket and tried to subtly “flavor” the woman’s drink. “Hey!” Kaden’s head shot up at the voice coming from the coffee hand-off. It was then he saw a familiar face. A certain bearded hipster was the one giving him the coffee. Merde. “You’re that guy!” Kaden looked around a moment as if maybe he was talking to someone else or seeing if anyone else heard, trying his best to conceal the dropper, fumbling a bit. Fuck. There was no escaping it. Putain. “What are you talking about? Look, I was just putting sugar in my fucking drink, what is your problem?”
