Showed alot of speed and improvement this weekend. After quickly getting the hang of the track during Friday's practice, we started working on setup and line choice, which lead to 2 very strong races. On Saturday we were holding 4th down and after a fun battle with teammate @thebudman_17 I earned the 5th place. For Sunday we made changes even more in the right direction, at points making moves for 3rd until we lost power steering before the halfway and had to play defense to hold position coming home with another 5th. Busy getting ready for @lucasoiloffroad Reno! This was the first time I had a hand in everything with this car, rebuilding my own shocks, fabbing the nerf bars, uninstalling and reinstalling the transmission and engine, as well as all of the driving around picking up parts. Recap from this weekend: Definately showed speed this weekend having some of the best drives I've had this year. Came home with 2 fifth place finishes and closed the points gap on the next guy. The goal of the #beachbuggy event was to put the crowd on their feet and show off my #funco machine to all of my local friends and family, and we pretty much nailed that pulling the class win and overall fastest time.
