Decided to turn this into a process revision exercise, swipe to see the breakdown. There should be a revised linework step in there, but wanted to focus solely on the process, not making the structures look much better than the refined sketch. Anyone develop your drawings in a similar fashion? Seeing as it's been about a year since I've been able to work on the computer fairly regularly, if not consistently, it seemed a good time to take stock of things. Recently learned that line-work theory in illustration is very much the same as calligraphy and hand-lettering, so the attempt at learning @pennedletters can be applied exactly as I'd hoped.
