#procreate experiment

I continue playing with Procreate... and I start to really enjoy this program. Still lots to learn... but I slowly start to get the hang of it in a way that I like working with...

Since I had it lying around I tried to finish the portrait of Amrit Doobay...

I’m currently not in any mood to draw any character art... so I continue to experiment with Procreate and my watercolor brushes...

It’s too hot to do much ... so I am sitting in my living room and try watercolor tutorials in Procreate... here’s another one... I need to adjust one of the brushes to be somewhat more opaque and “edgy”...

I will go back to my “regular art” at some point, too... but my characters are not talking to me so I decided to let them mope. If I ignore them long enough they might come back demanding attention... so in the meantime I am playing around and experiment with Procreate-Watercolors...

These mock up watercolor pieces are not super creative since I am following tutorials on Youtube... but after all I am drawing something and learn new things... so better than nothing, I guess?

I found my new favorite thing of the hour... trying all the watercolor tutorials I bookmarked on Youtube... but I try them with Procreate and my new brushes... This one was just rushed in half an hour because I am actually tired and should go to bed... ^^""

I followed another tutorial by James Julier. This one was a lot more challenging - but also fun and I enjoyed the process of it and learned a lot. Procreate is getting less intimidating XD  And I am quite happy with how this turned out in the end.

Alright... I love these watercolor brushes for Procreate. I think now my iPad and I are gonna be friends in regards to art after all. Being able to do watercolor art without all the supplies... neat. 

This one took about 45 minutes and was a lot of fun to do :3
