Aurora Borealis
Hadn’t done a tutorial in a while and this one caught my eye. The Northern Lights tutorial from James Julier.
I followed another tutorial by James Julier. This one was a lot more challenging - but also fun and I enjoyed the process of it and learned a lot. Procreate is getting less intimidating XD And I am quite happy with how this turned out in the end.
Tutorial by James Julier
I SPENT THREE HOURS ON THIS UUUUUUUGH
Plz reblog it i slaved over this for so long plz ;-;
First attempt, more to come
Nighttime Lights
I was in the mood to practice some more urban subjects and luckily James Julier had one. This is his Procreate Cityscape tutorial. Lots of practicing with the copy & paste and water reflections 😊
More Misty Mountains
Had another of those, I should draw something but not sure what moments and before I lost time and motivation, I decided to do a quick tutorial. Chose one of James Julier’s shorter videos for a nice art warm up 😊
Autumn Colours
It was September and I felt like drawing some fall colours, fortunately, James Julier has a few of them. This is his Fall Autumn Leaves tutorial.
Used the default brushes.
Beach Waves
Sometimes I feel like doing something creative, but I don’t feel a strong spark of inspiration. So I’ll occasionally choose a tutorial to follow. It’s a way to just follow along without pressure, but also practice and learn. A win win 😁
This is James Julier’s Paint a Beach Wave Wash tutorial.
Ocean Surf
Started February with a shorter tutorial to warm up a bit. Did one of James Julier’s older videos, Beach Sea Waves. A pretty sunny day at the beach under a blue sky 🌊😊
