It was most definitely not a class she had, so it was a mystery how the girl had ended up there curled up by a window, leeching the warmth from it. She was sleeping pretty peacefully too. The likely story was probably that she’d been on her way to class, and then the whims of a cat had taken over and she’d felt the need to nap before going on with her day. Even though she’d probably just woken up moments before.

As if on cue, she raised her head, blinking slowly at the figure before her before yawning and stretching out her limbs. After a moment of more groggy staring, it seemed to dawn on her that this was, in fact, not her class. 

“Nya?!” she exclaimed, sitting upright as her eyes widened. “Who are you?! When did Neko get here?” She paused and looked around again, brows furrowing. “Where is Neko anyway?”

It wasn’t everyday Freya had someone who was younger than her (Though not by much) who was her teacher. Even in Freya’s home world it was rare for someone who was under the age of 21 or 22 to be a teacher, though there were rare cases such as a prodigal witch, though even in her Coven, it was rare.

Listening to the lecture, though, Freya couldn’t help be be drawn to the females words. She held some powerful magic, magic and wisdom far beyond most Freya had met in her own world. It was actually hard to find others with magic at this school at times, or at least others with magic who would even speak to Freya. Maybe, just maybe, her teacher could help her.... Help her understand something she had been searching the answer for.

Staying after class Freya approached her, “Ummm.... Do you mind if I ask something?”

     Dear Li-Ming,

Welcome to Hiraeth Academy. Due to your great accomplishments in your own world, we have taken the liberty of summoning you here to Hiraeth in hopes that you will aid us in shaping the minds of those less experienced with their special abilities. We ask that you please report to the Headmistress’s office after reading this letter, so that you can receive a full briefing of what is expected of you. We are certain that your prowess with Hiraeth History will benefit those attending our academy. You will become their instructor, a guiding hand that will lead them down what we hope will be the right path.

You will be housed in our specialized staff housing, in room A-109, located in a building separate from the school, tucked away on the western side of campus. After you have seen to visiting the Headmistress, you are welcome to visit there any time to replenish your energy and have a break from teaching. You will be asked to introduce yourself to the students at the next meal, so please come prepared.
