I Know What You Did Last Summer || Jaden & Cyrus

Jaden’s patience was seriously starting to wear thin. Honestly, what made anyone around her decide that they could even try and keep secrets from a telepath? She wasn’t sure if she should be insulted or what, but she definitely was done with just minding her own business and waiting for Cyrus to finally step up and just tell her what had happened to him the last year of his life. Of course, she could always just go inside his head and get that information from him herself, but that would be a huge invasion of privacy, and she wouldn’t do that to her brother. 

Instead, she stormed into his apartment, knowing he was there. She marched right over to him, stopping in front of him with her hands crossed over her chest. “All right, Cybear, are you gonna tell me about this cult thing I keep hearing about in your head or are you gonna just keep trying to pretend I’ll never find out?”

Your Sister Is Going to Kill Us (AU) || Cyrus

The Phoenix had been on a patrol of the west side of Bostwick when Glitch radioed her on the special comms unit -- made special for her to use even while in one of her avian forms -- about a situation on the southeast side of the district, close to Lompico.  Since she was the closest on the squad to the coordinates Ruby gave her, Avalon changed her flight direction and winged her way to the location.

When she got there though she quickly discovered that she wasn’t the only one to respond to the scene.  She wasn’t surprised of course, but she was surprised and a bit annoyed to see that it was Jaden’s younger brother Cyrus who’d beat her there.  Seeing no other C.A.R.M.A. agents in the immediate vicinity, Ava swooped in and changed forms, uniform and mask concealing her identity even though it didn’t matter.

“Son of a bitch, Cyrus.  Where the hell is your backup?”
