On Saturday we played our last show of the Sistahs Tour in Edinburgh at the @lostmaprecords x @kidcanaveral Christmas Party, which also marked our final show of the year! 🎊 2018 has been such a whirlwind for us: from putting the finishing touches to Sistahs at @hermitageworksstudios in January, playing our first show of the year with the always inspiring @we_are_shopping, to @dictionarypudding recommending us as support for The Ex in June, which led to the @babayagashutlondon show where we met @thurstonmoore58, @extendedplays and @abbaphone, who agreed to release our album the next morning. We played our first show in mainland Europe thanks to @femipunx and @tthcfest, went on to support the brilliant Parquet Courts in 1000+ capacity venues across Europe, and released our debut album Sistahs, with brilliant reviews in @rollingstone, @pitchfork, @thequietus, @guardian and more. We’ve been played on @bbcradio1 & @bbc6music on shows by @huwstephensdj, @iggypopofficial, @lettsdon & @marcrileydj, and received some kind words from @mskathleenhanna. 🎉 We couldn't have done it all without the support of @margobroom, who produced Sistahs and understood where we were coming from perfectly, and was integral to crafting a piece of work that we're all so proud of. The team behind The Daydream Library Series believed in us from the moment they saw us, and worked tirelessly with us to release Sistahs to the world at last. Thanks to our driver @marcarcass for making our tours possible and always entertaining. Thanks also to @marklives from @sound_savers, Debbie Smith and @anandrewew for working with us on the video to 'Fall Asleep'. 🎊 Most of all we couldn't have done it without the support of our family, friends and fans who've helped us so much along the way, from coming to shows, rescuing us from breakdowns on tour, and for continually showing us love and belief in this band.
