As a follow-up to yesterday’s post on moving into college, here’s a printable packing list. I included two columns of checkboxes, because some items you’ll want to buy ahead of time and bring with you, some things you’ll dread having to pack up, and some things will want to wait to buy until after you’re already there. This way, you can keep track of what you have, what you still need, and what you need to remember to pack.
Make sure to check your school’s residence hall website to see if there’s anything specifically prohibited (like candles or extension cords) and what all the room will come with (like your bed, carpet, a minifridge, etc).
For those of you moving into an apartment (like me!), this list can also be used to help keep track of who’ll bring what--you can put initials in the boxes instead of checkmarks if you like.
