I am a Canadian high school student. I can say with certainty that I have never experienced gun violence firsthand. But I have friends in the US as I think most people online nowadays do, and I’ve educated myself on the entire situation with the second amendment, and all the incidents in the US. 

I’ve actively protested things my entire life, I got arrested at the age of 11 for crossing an injection line and since then I’ve pushed for movements in government and attended protests across my province. I know that my gun control laws here are good, so I’ve never had to protest them. However I ffeel directly connected to what is happening in the US and I have two things to say

1. You are making a difference, people all over the world are hearing you, have hope

2. Is there anything people in Canada can do to help? Anything at all? Because trust me, we want to and we will. @nationalwalkout @marchforourlivesla
