Question for my Students

I don't seem to be getting much traffic on the assignments I create, and while that makes me sad because I think it's awesome work, it doesn't answer the question of why. So I need your help: What kinds of assignments do you want to see on the topic of magical history and literature? Do you want lecture/assignment relationships? Do you want lectures to be disassociated with homework assignment? Would you rather submit artwork? I would love to know. Please reblog or inbox me with your suggestions. I want to make this blog the best.

Potions year 1 Homework

Take your textbooks and go outside for a walk in the forest. During the day!! Identify five herbs from your textbook that can be found on and around school grounds, and what in what potions they are useful. There is no word limit, however I expect you to use the textbook and cite from there so I can easily find your references. Please provide pictures as well. Due Friday August 26 -Professor Ottress

Potions and Healing

Lesson for 3rd year potions students There are a number of uses for different potions. Some are made to hurt, some to confuse, some for luck, and some for everyday chores (looking at you, Magical Swixer Elixir). But many are created to heal. 3rd year students: write 200-300 words on a healing potion that you have either used in your lifetime or have seen used. Tell me the title, the ingredients, the purpose, and the process of healing. Due on the 18th of August.
