Hello. Is there any canon confirmation of the way students got to Ivermorny? Was it a train, a bus, teleportation...? I would like to read where it is confirmed. Thanks!
Unfortunately there is very little canon about the school and its transportation systems. Personally I like to think that it employs a number of transportation methodologies, but I am also of the opinion that the actual location of the school would be better suited somewhere in Montana than stay in Massachusetts.

Professor, not trying to be a bother but my favorite books seem to have been stolen, some of my friends have been complaining that some of their items have been as well. I think it's that surly Pukwudgie, William. He's always pulling pranks on Thunderbird fourth years and some of them are plain dangerous. Help please

A Complete Guide to Ilvermorny
Created by myself and my lovely fellow analyst.
What Ilvermorny Means
This section focuses on the bare bones of each house. Later I expand in great depth on the specific combinations.
Wampus: Pragmatism. The Wampus wants real world results. It wants things that can assist these results. It will take real, immediate action to achieve these results. Oriented towards events, the exterior world, and action. Searches for advantage in everything. Searches for ways to win. Competition, winning, the real world. Proof. Logic. Action. Horned Serpent: Theories. The world aligns with their system of thought. Why is the world this way? What if it isn’t? The horned serpent considers everything. They scrutinize and analyze. They make the world fit their mind and make their mind for the world. Oriented toward the internal world. Thinking about things for their own sake. No objective but understanding. Pukwudgie: Pukwudgies are what they are. They want to be themselves in all respects, extroverting themselves on the outer world. They are in tune with their own emotions and will follow their gut instincts and feelings wherever they might lead. They have a strong emotional attachment to those they value, and will stay extremely loyal to those select few. Pukwudgies are social without Boeing to society. Thunderbird: Change. The grand concept of the soul. The thunderbird wants change for its internal world. It wishes to be free in its thoughts and it’s desires, pretty much regardless of the outside world. The thunderbird seeks betterment for itself in subjective ways. It does not want to win, it wants to be happy.

Pukwudgie/Hogwarts
what is the difference between thunderbird and pukwudgie? to me heart and soul are basically the same and influence a person in the same way, so I was wondering what other people saw as a fundamental difference. What might a thunderbird consider when making decisions that a pukwudgie wouldn't? how does the soul influence a person differently than the heart?
What a great ask! I had a lot of the same feelings when I was learning about the houses. These two seemed pretty intermingled, and a lot of people might say they are the same things.
Mainly, the differences have to do with the desires of the heart or soul. Thunderbirds tend to have a more adventurous nature, while Pukwudgies are more attuned to helping and healing. Which is also hard to limit, because you can both want to heal and want to go on adventures. I am one of the many who fall into both camps. At this school, you can choose which house, depending on which ones accept you.
Thunderbirds can tend to be more flighty, because they want to be and feel free. THis can mean forgetfulness, spontenaity, and a pension for mischief- where Pukwudgies are more cautious and low key. Pukkies also tend to be a little more reliable. If they say they are going to do something, it’s going to happen, come hell or high water.
I think one of the many reasons we separate the heart from the soul is that the soul is known for wanting to be free and fly, much like a Thunderbird. They are famous for their inability to be kept in captivity. Only two known wizards have ever successfully captured and tended Thunderbirds before. I believe the Muggles are making a movie about one of them right now...
If you are facing a decision, a Pukwudgie would probably focus more on how their choices will affect their stability and their ability to help others, while Thunderbirds would probably care more about how it will affect their ability to travel and keep their adventures a priority.
I will also add that, while many Thunderbirds tend to be more outdoorsy and use adventurous in a traditional sense, there are quite a few who use adventure as an internal term, taking adventures of the mind to task, often researching and discovering for months at a time.

Werewolves: A DAD Review
What is a werewolf?
Unlike the way werewolves are presented in most films, werewolves cannot turn into wolves at will. A werewolf can only transform into its wolfish form when it catches glimpse of the full moon, or the moonlight touches its body. When in the wolfish form, the werewolf loses all human sense of right and wrong. If placed in front of their best human friend, they will not know who she/he is until the effects of the lycanthropy wear off for the night.
Unlike an actual wolf, werewolves are more aggressive and have a general difference in terms of appearance. The tail is more rabbit-like, the pupils are smaller and the snout can be shorter. Werewolves target humans and have very little concern for any other animal.
When attacked by a werewolf in human form, one would not become a werewolf; one would instead merely posses the traits of a genuine wolf. The victim, for instance, would have a certain fondness for rare meat. Bites and scratches given to a human by a werewolf will leave lasting scars, whether or not the werewolf was in human form or not.
To Become A Werewolf
When a werewolf’s saliva mixes in with the blood of it’s human victim, Contamination occurs. Contamination is the process in which the blood of a human mixes in with the saliva of the werewolf, it can only occur then. Scratches cannot Contaminate a human, but can leave scars. When this occurs the victim does not become a werewolf.
Government Decisions
Because werewolves are humans at heart but suffer from uncontrollable lycanthropy, they have been flicked back and forth between the basic sorting of Being and Beast for years. The Magical Congress of the United States of America has the Werewolf Registry and Werewolf Capture Unit under the title of Beast, but the Werewolf Support Services, however, under the title of Being.
In 1637, the Werewolf Conduct of Code was written. It was a contract that all werewolves had to sign, signing it meant they agreed to lock themselves up every full moon and never to hurt anybody. Just like the Werewolf Registry, the WCC failed. Those who were werewolves did not want to risk exposing their condition to everyone and thus did not sign.
The Werewolf Registry was a book that was to be filled with names and homes of werewolves, but with new people being bitten day after day, the Registry eventually fell apart.

Melliflora
A slow-growing plant often kept for the rich and sugary syrup it produces, Melliflora are magical succulents with the wonderful property that, when their syrup is added to a potion, it can sweeten the brew without impacting the potion’s efficacy. Melliflora usually grow in clusters of globules, the older the specimen the greater the number of globules, with a foot-square spread of globules indicating about the growth of ten years. Perhaps annoyingly, one most wait those ten years to have enough resultant syrup to be useful. Perhaps worse is that the most effective way of harvesting the syrup is to utterly crush the plant making repeat harvesting impossible.
Melliflora are native to Mexico, but can also be found in other suitably arid areas in recent years, with a number of potioneers transplanting large quantities (usually by taking one or two individual globules and cultivating those) for their personal use. The most recent variants of Wolfsbane used in America, for example, make use of Melliflora syrup to improve the flavour while a number of Healing Potions are likewise beginning to make use of it.
Sadly, this sudden increase in use bodes nothing good for the plant or it’s growers, who are struggling to keep up.

Ilvermorny in the spring would be surrounded by lush green fields. To the right of the main castle would be patches of wild flowers surrounding three large green houses filled with exotic magical plants. To the left is where the Thunderbird tower stood covered in thick wisteria vines.
Ilvermorny in the winter would be snow covered in which teachers would have to clear paths to get to buildings that were not attached to the castle such as the puckwudgie dorms. Icicles would hang off the barren trees turning Ilvermorny into an ice-kissed castle.
Ilvermorny in the summer would be a dull green forest. Hot summer air would turn the fields of grass yellow. The coolest part of the castle was the basement where the kitchens and wampus dorms were. Under the cloudless sky were the fragrant hills of Mount Greylock.
Ilvermorny in the fall would be orange and red leaves falling off the trees. The forests that were draped across the mountain sides were popping with color. The sugar maple trees that surrounded the horned serpent dorms provided the school with the sweetest maple syrup.
